Hi all, I have received the complaint through the Contact us, and I went to the forum to have a look. From my side, the problems seem to be solved. I think that a server restart has been performed as the issue seems to be solved. Can someone confirm that it is solved for you too?
Our IT department has figured out the problem and will work on a resolution, unfortunately, this will only be fully resolved in a couple of weeks, in the meantime, we will monitor the issue and restart the server when needed. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are working on a long term resolution.
@Patrick_Hendrickx Thank you for quick action! It is working on my end now.
No worries, we will always keep you bothering, good you are still around ![]()
It seems that the API services are down again. I am working with our IT department to get this resolved as soon as possible.
The API server has been restarted and all functionalities are back online. We are working on a long term solution, but in the meantime, we estimate that we might have issues the coming couple of weeks, and we will deal with them as they arrive. The problems will be solved soon.
It’s also good that the heating period will be soon over, even I must say I’m using also temperature readings from thermostats to control blinds in the house, so … would be great to have it running ![]()
All my 4 if offline in Homey. Working just fine in senz own app
..it’s unfortunately problem with the API again, not the app itself. Sooner or later it will get fixed again, not sure however if even during the weekend.
Hi,
It seems to be working for me. Is the problem still pending for you?
Hi,
working again, thank you ![]()
I am having lots of trouble with my thermostats connecting and disconnecting. Any tips?
Hi Filip, there have been some issues with the SENZ WIFI server. We are monitoring this. If you continue having issues, please tell me and I will investigate further.
Tonight at 01:42 both my Senz-wifi room controllers lost contact with Homey
contact is fine with your Senz-wifi app, and also other wifi nodes, like shelly plugs work fine.
contact cannot be restored, neither using the repair function, rebooting your app in homey, or power-cycling the room controllers.
There is also no function to manually set IP adresses, like with Shelley, as i suspect there has been a change in the dynamic IP-adresses, that for some reason has not updated in Homey.
Same with mine.
Unfortunately it’s API again down, they will restore it Monday latest.
FYI - 23:00 CET - seems to be online again
Connection restored yesterday 20:56
Here we go again.

Is it a stopped server again?
Reliablity of this device is rather low, making it difficult to use for the intended purpose, as part of electric price optimisation with the 15-min electricity pricing.
Hello Gunnar, we are aware of the server stability issues and are working on a long term solution. We estimate that it will take about 2 more weeks to get the issues resolved. In the mean-time, you can expect some issues from time to time and we are very sorry about this, but the server has now reached it’s maximum capacity and we are working on a new server setup that will be easily scalable which will resolve the issues. Unfortunately, the implementation of this new server architecture takes some time and resources. I hope you can understand.
