[APP][Pro] Zendure Classic – SolarFlow Hub 1200/2000, AIO 2400, Ace 1500

German version: [APP][Pro] Zendure Classic – ältere Zendure-Geräte: SolarFlow Hub 1200/2000, AIO 2400, Ace 1500

Zendure Classic brings the older Zendure devices to Homey Pro, the ones the official Zendure app does not support. The app connects through the Zendure Cloud, using the Authorization Cloud Key from the Zendure app. Homey only needs internet access, it doesn’t have to be on the same network as the hub.

Supported devices

  • SolarFlow Hub 1200 and Hub 2000
  • AIO 2400
  • Ace 1500

Newer devices (Hyper 2000, SolarFlow 800–4000) are supported by the official Zendure app. Other devices in the same account, e.g. meters, plugs or newer SolarFlow models, are ignored.

What you get

  • Zendure solar: solar power in total and per input, yield today and in total, output to home.
  • Zendure battery: state of charge, battery power (+ charge / − discharge), battery state, temperature, highest and lowest cell voltage and their spread, battery health, behaviour at the discharge limit, charged and discharged energy, and the energy plan set in the Zendure app (e.g. Smart CT). Charging from grid and the emergency socket show up if your device has them.
  • Homey Energy: Zendure solar shows up as a solar panel, Zendure battery as a home battery.
  • 5 dashboard widgets: energy flow, battery, day chart, today’s totals and solar inputs, for one device or the sum of all.
  • Flow cards, e.g. battery state changed, energy plan changed, battery is charging / discharging / in standby, energy plan is Smart CT, plus actions for the settings below.
  • App settings: Cloud Key with a step-by-step guide, connection status, devices in your Zendure account, control commands and the last message received.
  • English, German and Dutch.

Control (Hub 1200/2000 only)

Every battery device starts in Display only mode: Homey shows values but doesn’t change anything. Turn it off in the device settings to set charge limit (70–100 %), discharge limit (0–50 %), bypass, bypass reset and beep, in the device and via Flow cards. Each setting can also be locked individually.

The hub stores these settings permanently, so the app allows one change per setting per minute and waits until the hub confirms it.

A fixed output power and the energy plan can’t be set from Homey on purpose: with Smart CT, the Zendure Cloud sends the hub a new power value every few seconds and would overwrite any value right away. Set the energy plan in the Zendure app. Homey shows it and can react to it in Flows.

Setup

  1. Install Zendure Classic from the Homey App Store.
  2. In the Zendure app: Profile → Authorization Cloud Key → copy the complete key.
  3. In Homey: Apps → Zendure Classic → Settings → paste the key → Save. After about 15 seconds the status says “Connected via Zendure Cloud”.
  4. Add the devices Zendure solar and Zendure battery, both for each Zendure unit.

Good to know

  • Zendure allows only one such cloud connection per account. Don’t use the same key in Home Assistant, ioBroker or another app at the same time, or the connections will kick each other out.
  • Tested only with a SolarFlow Hub 2000 and an AB2000 battery. Hub 1200, AIO 2400 and Ace 1500 are supported but untested.
  • The app calculates the daily values from the power readings, so they may differ slightly from the Zendure app.
  • This is an unofficial hobby project, not a Zendure product.

Feedback welcome

Do you own a Hub 1200, AIO 2400 or Ace 1500? Let me know if everything shows up correctly. For bugs, please reproduce the problem, send a diagnostic report from the app page and post the log ID here.
