[App][Pro] X-Sense - Ultimate home safety with X-Sense smart devices

I have connected 6 XS01-M smoke detectors to the SBS50 base station.

Homey pro 2023.

An update 1.1.11 for the app was released last night. Please check again to see if it has resolved your issue.

The smoke alarm is still not coming through; if I trigger the smoke detector, the mute alarm is activated.
Otherwise, no alarms are being triggered.

Unfortunately, the app no longer works; all the smoke detector SC07-WX cards are empty and the app crashes with the following error message:
TypeError: Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined

TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined

Edit:
I’ve now switched back to Home Assistant for the full setup. Everything’s working there, and I was able to re-import the smoke detectors into Homey using the HA Community app.

Hi, Thanks for the Logs. I look what happened here.

One more thing, perhaps. When I reinstalled the app and tried to add the devices again, there were no devices visible in the selection menu. It seemed to me as though the x-Sense API was empty.

Same here. Have no acsess to the detectors.

That’s an error from the Homey Android app itself, you should report it here:

I would like to purchase the X-Sense XS0B-MR (voice and WiFi + hub), but I also want to connect it to Homey via your app so that I can create flows—for example, turning on lights, opening shutters, etc. when an alarm is triggered.

Is this type of detector compatible with the app in Homey, and will the voice functionality of the detector continue to work?

Thanks

John

Hi Sven,

Just purchased a X-Sense SC06-WX. Connected it to the X-Sense app. Created a second X-Sense account. Installed the app in Homey. Using the second X-Sense account, but no device found.

Message “no supported {{devicetype}} found … required base station”.

I tried reinstalling the app, but again same error message.

Please help

I have the sbs 50 base with a Sc07-MR smoke and co detector. If i connect it to homey it does not say its offline when i take out the battery or plug of the power from the hub. In the xsense applicatieontwikkeling it says its offline. In the homey xsense app i cant find anything that its offline.

I created a log in homey 1b5c6a5f-f2b0-4879-b3d5-83cafa9b28dd

My temperature sensors keep dropping offline. I created a separate account as suggested but it was last updated 7 hours ago. They are connected as X-Sense app shows them up to date.

Hello, plase can anybody tell me if the problem with the app integration is solved and all devices are working properly again because i want to buy new smoke sensors, prime day :star_struck: …thx for feedback!

SC07-WX works !

Thx for reply…have already set an order, of course SC07-WX, dont like hubs  …do you know if the other models which require the hub should basically working in homey? In the x-sense community app for homey i cant see any hints for this and in the messages above i read some troubles…?

I’m afraid I can’t comment on that. I opted for the SC07-WX because it works with both Home Assistant and Homey.

Hi Rammstein,

I think it’s hit and miss at the moment. I have the 06, which is the same as the 07 except for the display. In my case, I can’t t get it to connect to homey.

Hi Mennomads,

Thx for your Feedback, next week i will test the devices and report if i was successfully…

Update:

Hello everyone!

This project is NOT abandoned but it requires time for bug fixing and implementing new functions.

And time is one of the goods that is spare at the moment.

X-Sense don’t approved me for the developers API or documentation so it depends all on the HomeAssistant Integration or on reverse engineering the Sense Android app.

I am really sorry that I can’t provide more or frequent updates for the integration.

I hope you understand this.

Hi Undertaker,

you wrote your devices are working? Well i could connect the first SC07-WX device without any problems into homey, i shared my home with an new created account which homey can use, installed the x-sense app on homey and add the first device…all values are there and i looks nice…so next i made a test with the button on the device, all was running well but homey dont recognize the test, so i go further to a real test, take a incense stick and hold it in front of the smoke detector, the alarm occour immidetialy and i get the message from the x-sense app on my mobile phone but nothing happens again from homey side, the alarm and status value dont change!!! Is this working by your devices??? Maybe one of the current API problems what SM reports above :frowning:

I only want to tell you that it seems that currently the main function of the SC07-WX doesnt work in relation with Homey, so this problem make the smoke detector useless in Homey!
