Quick question before I design my whole-house audio around WiiM and Homey.
I plan to have 3 WiiM Amp Pros:
- Lounge
- Terrace
- Sala
Each connected to a TV via HDMI ARC.
Example:
A YouTube music video is playing on the Terrace Apple TV.
Audio enters the Terrace Amp Pro via HDMI ARC.
I would like a Homey dashboard button called “Party Mode” which groups Lounge + Terrace + Sala so the TV audio from the Terrace Amp is heard across all three zones.
Can the Homey WiiM app:
- Activate a pre-existing WiiM group?
- Trigger grouping from a Flow/dashboard button?
- Will HDMI ARC audio from the group leader be distributed to the other grouped Amp Pros?
Has anyone implemented something similar successfully?
