I’ve given this a wait, seeing as there was alot of issues with the VW API.
Was gonna give it a go tonight, but I cant seem to get info from the servers.
I have a 2020 E-Golf that I’m trying to connect to, and it was working earlier this spring/early summer before VW started messing around with alot.
So, I found this post, and i tried the 1.19.2 version now, and selected the following:
Volkswagen 2020 or newer
Log in with my credentials (and tripple checked them with VW’s own portal)
Validating credentials
Loading
Error: Login failed. make sure you used the correct credentials.
I promise you 110%, I have the correct credentials, but it still fails no matter what.

Hi All, my new Enyaq was running fine for 2 weeks and suddenly stopped working. After 3 days without updating in Homey (Skoda App itself was running fine) I decided to delete the car from Homey.
Tried to add it again, with the live version but I get the error after login with my credentials “no new devices found” and with the beta version I get this:
Due to changes in the API it might be that your car is not working properly
Unfortunately there’s no proper fix available for all issues.
It might take a while before all issues are fixed. If this version is not working for you, please return to the live version of the app.
Made a big update to the app which resolves a lot of issues. There were some outdated dependencies which were conflicting and I updated a lot of mapping to be correct again.
Please check the post above and install the respective app for your brand.
I tested VW and that works perfect again.
For VW, Seat, Cupra, Skoda we’re using the old API, which probably is the way to go
Sorry, did not work for VW. Using API Helper Tool I get back the info “No VIN found, please check credentials and try again”. This happens for all 3 API versions.
But if I go to VW own portal, or their Android app, I of course ha my car there, and also the options to unlock, lock, start climate control, etc etc…
This is by No mens a complaint. You’ve done amazing work here, and if it’s VW that is the issue, I/we’ll Just have to wait I guess. Keep up the awesome job and Great replies man.
That was my first try. But tried again.
Getting one message “Error”
It appeared after some time (10 - 15s) and after message “Collecting data from server”

Yes of course. I tried with adding a car as well, and doing that I do and get the following:
Add a device
Select the WeConnect app (using the latest 1.20 version you posted about).
Choose Volkswagen Electric
Click “Connect”
Choose Volkswagen 2020 or newer (since this is a 2020 E-Golf in question)
Log in with my credentials (double checked these plenty times now)
Then I get the 3 following messages with a loading animation:
Validating Credentials
Loading
Getting Data from server
Error - To change the login click ‘previous’.
And also i just tried this again before posting this. And it was 1 hour since last attempt, so too many logins should not be the issue as far as I can imagine anyhow.
Just as a quick question, this app doesnt require the new Homey model does it?
