@PeterW what interval setting did you use?
Seems like the Homey is getting flooded with z-wave messages. I would suggest to put it back to a higher number. Also to save battery life.

Apart from that, i’ll check why the setting is not working.
A bit hard to debug this way :stuck_out_tongue:

Did you see my note above, about that the config change worked from start. It was “just” the external input that didn’t work.

@PeterW Yes I saw. In the logs I see that the switch is not processing. So it looks got on the Homey side. But the actual switch is not happening.

  • NEW: ADD ZD2201 and ZD2105
  • FIX: ZD2102 external switch setting
  • ADD: ZD2102 interval for wake up + battery fix
  • FIX: product ids for ZD2201 & ZD2105
  • FIX: ZD2102 External Switch

Just a thought…
Any idea to go back to 2.5.0 and start from there doing this:
Change config to Yes (use external input)
Wait 3600 sec
Try to trigger the external input
Take out a report.

Version 2.5.0 didn’t have the the processing of the device settings. So it will never change the setting.
But if you want to try it. the live version of the app is on 2.5.0. (live)

Somehow this device is missing the COMMAND_CLASS_CONFIGURATION
So have to check what’s going wrong. :confused:

Is the external switch supposed to work next to the normal magnet or is it like one OR the other?

Both sensors have now installed correctly.
Door sensor ZD2105 working correctly but battery status not displaying.
Multisensor ZD2201 Contact Alarm not working, Temperature and Humidity displaying correct values, Luminance incorrectly showing 100 lux, battery status not displaying.

Additional information on Multisensor ZD2201:
Tamper Alarm is working correctly.
Luminance value is responding to changes but values are not consistent with other sensors. Perhaps a calibration issue?
When the magnet is moved away from the sensor, the indicator light on the sensor flashes once which implies that it recognises the change in contact but it does not update the value displayed in the app. similarly when the magnet is moved back into contact with the sensor.

When I try to add the Door Sensor ZD2105, it adds it as Multisensor ZD2201 and vice versa.

To be honest, I don’t know how the different inputs work.
But, I had the external input to work without having the magnet attached, so I guess they are working separately.

I can put the switch back to the Zipabox and make som tests and try to find out how it works.
