The Vitovent is part of the free plan, so this should be straightforward to get added to the Homey app.
However I do need data to be able to add it, if you follow the procedure to register an account on the developer portal, and enter the client ID in the Homey settings, youāll be able to get a installations.json and features.json file from inside Homey. You can send those files via PM towards me, that will allow me to add the type of device towards the app.
What would also help me is things youād like to see in the app for the Ventilation.

Right now Iām still deciding which ventilation system suits our needs. Viessmann is now on my list, but it will take at least six months until we get one installed. Iāll come back to you in case we go with Viessmann.

Today I encountered a small problem. Iām not sure if itās directly related to your app, but when I right-click on the icon for your app and click on the āInsightsā tab, my Homey crashes and reboots. Maybe you could check if this happens to you too?

@KennyMoens Iāve been trying to add this but I get a proxy error when the Viessman login page tries to load. Has something changed the Viessman end? I can login via their API website with no issues. Have also tried this on mobile and desktop

Leaving message below just for those that might have a similar issue. It seems the issue was with a weird wifi connection issue. When boiler is visible in the ViCare app, it actually works perfectly with this Homey App as well. Thanks for the effort put into this.
Issue (resolved with better wifi connection) was:
Created the client in the viessmann developer portal (btw the portal seems to have moved to https://app.developer.viessmann-climatesolutions.com/ , maybe installation info should be updated in the gitlab wiki page) , then added the Client ID to the homey app, then tried to add a Vitodens device, i am redirected, thereās no credentials requested, the callback happens, but when i am back in the homey page i am on the āNew Devices Foundā page, but the content of the page is: āInvalid onHandleNotOK return value, expected: instanceof Errorā

I get exaclty the same error as mentioned above, Invalid grant. It was working for months until the 1ste of december. I removed the client from the developers portal and created a new one. New ID used. then this error Error: Client authentication failed
The other Viessmann app in the Homey store has the same problem. So probably something changed in the API

At least for me it still works properly. When creating the new client ID, did you repair the device or did you add the device from scratch again?
Could you retry what you did, and afterwards send me a diagnostics report?

After removing the device the ViCare app works, however the Viessmann app does not. See screenshot:

Hey Sjoors,
Did you enter the correct client ID in the settings of the app? This is the OAuth flow that somehow fails, it is a message we get back from the Viessmann servers.
I checked the diagnostics report, but it does not give me more info besides the āinvalid grantā.
