[APP][Pro] Trashcan Reminder 2.0

Nice find! I actually never translated the months, never occurred to me. Will have a look to see if I can add that.

Since what I believe was the last update, the green bin has been shown as the black bin in the Waste Reminder widget. The notifications for the green bin have also suddenly changed into notifications for the black bin.So when the green bin is due to be emptied, I get a notification saying that the black bin will be collected instead. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Can you sent me (in a PM) an example zipcode and which trash collector API you are using? Then I can have a look if your provider changed the naming of their trash types and how it is categorized.

I have the same problemen.

I also gor often wilgen not found.

I set “klein snoeiafval” to n.v.t. but still the app loads the data for it.

Might it be that your browser is in English but your Homey app is in Dutch? Because it should be automatically translated (as I use the native DateTime function to render the name). And as “Morgen” is in dutch (that comes from the Homey translation file). And the device names are the ones you gave, so also Dutch…

@Raymond_Slegers, @Patrickske, @AdvaLa I added a small fix that should fix the categorization again and also respect the “Not applicable” settings from the settings page: Trashcan Reminder 2.0 | Homey

Yessss for me it works now. Thanks so much for fixing this!

It’s in the Dashboard, so in the Homey App, and they are both in Dutch..

btw. the devicewidget is to small for my Dashboard so I will have to find another way to show ‘other then the current trashbin pickup’

I have a widget showing what bin wil be picked up ‘tomorrow’ if any.

Now I want a widget that shows when the other one’s will be picked up in ascending order.. Meaning if the Grey bin is picked up tomorrow, I want to show when the nex pickup of the Green one and the Blue one will be… But it needs to be in a big/resizeable font…

Will look into it..

Thanks for this fix. It fixed the GFE+T naming. From 1 July in my village they are also changing something else. Rest and PMD are combined. Can you add this option to the category to?

Hi, since a month or two (I think) the data for trash collection are off. Paper is working as designed, but the generic waste is a week off and seem to have received the dates for green waste. If I check the settings, the debug overview for REST shows the localtext for GFT, and the dates for GFT.

Tried a fresh install of the app, but the same issue reappears after collecting the data. Any clues?

I think this is resolved with the latest update released yesterday/day before yesterday. Let me know

The debug info shows correct data now. will know for sure tomorrow  Thanks for the quick fix

I tried the update but it does not work as expected. I keep seeing fetch days in the widget and receiving notifications for days that I have disabled in the app settings.

Here is the pruning waste as an example. It is set to N.V.T. but still appears in the widget.

Hi everyone,

Am I the only one experiencing this, or are more people noticing that since today the images/icons inside the Dashboard Widget for the Trashcan Reminder 2.0 app no longer appear? It has always worked perfectly up until now.

Here are my system details:

  • Homey model: Homey Pro (Early 2023)
  • Firmware version: 13.4.1-rc.2
  • App version: 10.1.0.2047

Is this a known issue, and are there any solutions or workarounds available for it?

Thanks in advance!

@MrDutchfighter Hi Robert, just now I noticed that there is no date for Paper in the app available. This means that flows which contain the logic-card ‘Paper’ are not functioning at the moment. The variable is shown grey instead of green.

is this a known issue?

I’m using app version 5.9.4

Homey firmware 13.4.0

Homey pro early 2023

No issue here, same app version and firmware. Maybe stupid question, but have you tried turning it off and on again?

Have you checked with your trash provider to see if they still have the info on their site?

Otherwise, can you sent me some example details (postal code, number and which trash provider you use), so I can check from my side?

I checked. Collecting paper is planned in september (according to their site). I’ll send you a personal message with the details.

I have the exact same problem.
Turned on / off without result.

Info is correct & available on the site of the trash provider.

I just noticed that the app stopped working.

Tried to configure the app again, but my address was not recognized. So I deleted the app and did a new install. Now I can’t choose the recycle company in the source field. It’s just showing “onbekend”. Even if I try NL or BE, it doesn’t show any recycle company.

Is anyone else experiencing this ?
