Did that and it’s working like a charm. Thanks a lot for the great app!
Hi, @martijnpoppen, great app thank you. I have a DS223, the image (icon) and the On/Off button displays a wrong information, the NAS is working.
Thank you
I wonder how its going with the UPS integration?
I made a flow that uses the API that populate som variables, but it would be much more nice if that information was in your app.
Can I help in any way let me know.
Should I share my flow maybe?
/Rikard
@janrikard i have no idea
Not working on it
As said earlier its not on my priority.
To bad
Well, here is my flow
Im not that good at programing, but I belive that you use the same API in your code when I try to figure out what you have done

What about Network UPS Tools (NUT) App for Homey | Homey ? I use it to read my UPS state from Synology (you must enable UPS server)
@Sharkys great tip!
Thanks for the tip
Yep, using that myself also. Just make sure you allow your Homey IP to access the UPS service on Synology.
Martijn
I can power off my DS218Play via Homey, but power on is not working
In the DS Wake on Lan = on. In Homey ip and mac address and all what is needed are written.
But I am not able to start my DS via Homey.
What do I wrong
Rein
@Rein_Blaauw did you check FAQ Q3? [APP][Pro] Synology - #4 by martijnpoppen
Martijn,
Thanks for your quick reaction.
DS218play has only 1 Lan.
I did all what was written in your Qand A
What I did:
In Homey: I uninstalled the synoly app.
Restated homey again (PTP)
Installed Synology again. Results are the same.
Syno off: Syno shuts down
Syno on: Nothing is happening
Regards
Rein
@Rein_Blaauw please keep this thread in english…
You could try to run a WoL from a windows or mac and see if that works. Homey just does a WOL.
Also did you use a local IP or a public IP?
Because it only works via local, also see: Wake on LAN | SRM - Synology Kenniscentrum
Martijn,
I try to wake up my DS with Synology Assistent.
This working almost working everywhere only not on the point where Homey is connected( behind an other r)outer.
I have to solve this first.
Thanks for your help.
I let you know when I solved this issue.
For me the case is closed
Thanks again
Rein
@Rein_Blaauw Again… English please. Or just send a DM
Alright, let me know if it works again
Is it only possible to login with synology quick connect? I’ve only local users and I can’t connect.
Thanks in advance. Ronald
@Vierlijner no any connection will do. If you want to connect locally thats possible as well. Thats even recommended for optimal performance
I only fixed it with the admin account. A user account isn’t enough.
@Vierlijner yes that’s correct. Only admin accounts can read the API
