@martijnpoppen, after restart of NAS it works again. But only for a while.

@Martin_Tolseinde looks like a issue on the NAS side, everything works perfect on Homey, report looks good aswell

Ok, Thanks for all your effort! I’ll try to uninstall and reinstall Surveillance Station on the NAS. Otherwise I’ll contact Synology, hopefully they can help.

after installing the Surveillance station 2 app and trying to connect to my nas, do i get a “unable to verify the first certificate”
please give me a clue how to proceed

I try all the connection configuration explained in this tchat, (IP fixed, port 554, 5001, 5000… ) but always the timeout error

@Jerome_Lechatreux as mentioned in the report I can’t help you with this as it differs per synology. So follow the instructions in this thread

Edit: tip would be to use a local connection instead of the cloud of synology

I’m also using the local connection, but always TimeOut error
could you only confirm these parameters, please ?
connection : HTTPS
Hostname : Local IP address
Port : 554 ?
Account/Password : Admin user synology

@Jerome_Lechatreux I can’t because it depends on your configuration
But just check how you connect to DSM and use that connection

Also it’s not clear to me what the issue is you’re facing

In 2023 I had installed the Synology Surveillance Station 2 app on homey. Then I couldn’t connect to the synology server. Then it turned out that I had turned off the http port, after I activated it it worked.

A few months ago I made a HDashboards and also linked the cameras in it, it worked perfectly.

Suddenly I had a red exclamation mark with my app in homey under devices.

Tried to repair via settings (I found that on the internet) that unfortunately did not provide a solution.

Now I have deleted the app and reinstalled it and I still can’t log in.

Created a new user on the synology Homey and an easy password that can’t go wrong.

via my web browser I can log in to the synology http://192.168.10.X:XXXX (I have changed the standard port number, that was already from the beginning and therefore worked just fine)

In the app on homey I set these same details and still I get the message
[Login failed, check the settings and try again]

I don’t know what else is going wrong now?

And about your issue please send a diagnostic report as I can’t see what is wrong right now

For the login you should use the same as your DSM login.

Indeed I use the Synology username and password of the account in the app

@Patrick_Leliveld thats a report for athom
You can send a report when you go to the app in your homey

Had to search for a while, but I sent it
