Sure Pet Flap & Feeder connects your official Sure Petcare cloud-enabled devices to Homey Pro. Built from the ground up for Homey SDK v3, this app focuses on reliability, instant status overview, and rich dashboard integration:
- Real-time Pet Presence: Always know whether your pets are inside or outside, including exact passage timestamps.
- Full Lock & Curfew Control: Remotely switch between Unlocked, Locked In, Locked Out, Locked Both Ways, and Curfew modes.
- Native Dashboard Widgets: Custom-built widgets designed specifically for Homey Dashboards (supporting both single-pet and side-by-side multi-pet layouts).
- Smart Feeder Monitoring: Track bowl weights and feeding habits with the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect.

- Pet feeder recorded a meal (Tokens: Pet Name, Weight eaten in g)

Setup & Configuration
- Install the app via the Homey App Store (Test Link).
- Open the Homey app, tap + (Add Device) and select Sure Pet Flap & Feeder.
- Sign in with your standard Sure Petcare email and password.
- Select the Hub, Flaps/Doors, Feeders, and Pets you want to add to Homey.
- Add the Widget: Edit your Homey Dashboard → Tap Add Widget → Select Apps → Choose Sure Pet Flap & Feeder.
- Customize your settings in the app
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How often is pet location updated?
The app polls the Sure Petcare cloud at optimized intervals to provide fast updates while respecting cloud rate limits.
Why can I only install the /test/ version right now?
The app is currently undergoing review/certification by Athom. Until it is live on the main store page, anyone can install and use it directly via the public /test/ URL above.
What makes this different from older Sure Petcare apps?
This app is newly built on Homey SDK v3 with active maintenance, native Homey Dashboard Widgets, improved multi-pet layout handling, and full compatibility with modern Homey Pro (Early 2023 & newer) firmware. App level settings, and more
