Thank you for using Pet Feeder Connector!

That’s some great stuff! Will it be possible in future to also connect other devices like the Pura Max?

Hi, do you think it would be possible for you to add the Nutri Vision from Petoneer? Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion!

I’ll take a closer look at adding support for the Petoneer Nutri Vision soon. From what I’ve found so far, it should definitely be possible to integrate it into Pet Feeder Connector.

I’ll investigate the technical side and see what is needed to get it working properly with Homey. Stay tuned! :rocket:

Sure! Thank you so much for your quick reply!
I can’t wait to see it!
Thank you so much for all your hard work!

If I get the Aqara Smart Pet Feeder C1 can I just add it to Homey without any other app or hub?

I have a few other Aqara sensors and the experience haven’t been great, they often fall out of the zigbee mesh and I have to re-add them. To the point that I no longer buy Aqara. Any issue like that with the pet feeder?

Hi ExtraKim, yes: the Aqara C1 pairs directly with Homey in Pet Feeder Connector over Zigbee. No Aqara hub and no extra app. Add it with the Aqara Smart Pet Feeder driver. Zigbee dropouts depend on your Homey mesh, not this driver.

I have an xiaomi smart pet feeder 2 but the app doesn’t find it. Is there something i could do or am i doing something wrong?

I have a mesh that works well with a lot of different brands, except Aqara. Not sure why.

I will buy a C1 and see how it turns out, thanks.

@Djordie_Hendriks I bought the Aqara. I made a flow to feed the dog in the morning. Yesterday my wife called me at work and said that the feeder did give out a small portion at 21.31. Today the same thing happen.

I have no flow that should start the feeder at that time. I can see in the log that the feeder have put out 142 portions today (should be 60 if 10 is the max portion it can put out each time), last time at 19.31.

I have noticed that it said 1 hr ago at 22.31, with other words the time stamp is wrong and the acctual time was 21.31. Have to check if Homey have changed my local time.

At the same time it did the “Last synchronization”.

Do you know why this happens?

Hi Sibren, Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder 2 is supported (xiaomi.feeder.iv2001). Add it under Pet Feeder Connector → Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder. Homey and the feeder need the same Wi-Fi network (same SSID, not guest/VLAN). You can also enter the feeder’s IP manually, then the 32-character Xiaomi token. If the list stays empty on the same SSID, tell me what the Xiaomi app shows as the model name.

Hi ExtraKim, thanks for the details. The portions and feed events Homey shows include feeds from the C1’s own schedule, not only Homey Flow. The timestamps come from Homey’s clock/timezone — please check Homey’s timezone matches yours. The daily portion count is what the feeder reports; it can look high if the C1 counts small units. If you can, send a Homey diagnostic after the next unexpected feed.

@Djordie_Hendriks I have made a report just now. I can still see the wrong time stamp (two hours behind) in the log, I have set my Homey clock to Stockholm. When I run the feeder with a flow, it feeds at the right time.

Report nr:

c91dcf23-ead5-42d7-b646-2f599e8bb837

It’s just a small portion, way smaller then when I run the flow.
