Does “latest” mean 2.0.30 or the test version?
I think they are in the latest release version, but try the test version to be sure.
I have search this topic and read some advices but still I cannot detect motion via this app and my Dahua IP cameras. They are supporting onvif, but I cannot get any detection details in Homey.
Support for ONVIF doesn’t necessarily mean they support motion as the specification has many parts.
However, first check you have turned on motion detection in the Homey device. A lot of users have mistaken the button for the status.
If you still can’t get motion detection to work, send me the information log from the app settings page.
The log all looks good. The app is subscribing to pull events and it appears that many types of events are supported.
What I can’t see are any events being generated.
Could you clear the log and then trigger motion on the camera so I can see what is being generated.
Done. New log sent.
PS. I have also tried to add camera directly and via my Dahua NVR (as a channel). Still no luck.
[EDIT]: seems to be solved. I have reinstalled app and use test version. My next question how it is possible to detect small pets on my terrace
i have Dahua TiOC camera.
@Adrian_Rockall Hope you can help? I have the IMOU Looc camara, always. worked fine with Homey. I guess after an update, not anymore. I reinstalled the app, reset the camera, tried all over again, but I get the ‘Wrong ONVIF SOAP response’ every time. Please see the screenshot from Homey.
When I run different apps on my MacBook, I can access the screenshot or live view. As well http://192.168.2.6/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?loginuse=admin&loginpas=admin is working to view.
Many thank for your time and effort!
Could you enable the Diagnostics log in the app settings page (set it to Detailed Information), then when you see the error message, go back and send the log.
@Adrian_Rockall do You know, if ONVIF supports 2-way audio communication? I have IP Dahua IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV S4 TIOC and I was wondering, if I can sent some audio or voice to my camera?
I don’t think it’s possible. I will try to look into the specifications for though.
Try port 8000
Looks like I have some reading to do this evening ![]()
Done!
Thanks, tried it, then this error: connect ECONNREFUSED 192.168.2.6:8000
Strange, the discovery is not being given a port, it comes back as null. All my searching suggests that port 80 is correct. Is there any configuration option for the camera to enable ONVIF?
Adrian, any updates after your reading session? ![]()
No, sorry. I got sidetracked by a new app to work on. I will look into it though.
Hey, i’m trying to add a Hikvision NVR. It’s recognizes the nvr but when I’ve put in the login credentials it gives me ‘Error: Unrecognized configuration’.
I’ve tried reading through the topic already but can’t seem to find any of these errors.
