Same issue: Power outage, no data came so I restarted the app, still nothing so I removed the Enphase device, and now it cant find the Enphase gateway anymore… Error message: “No new device found”
This Solar Panels app requires maintenance, including changes that Enphase implemented this year. This means that the link no longer works if the connection is temporarily lost due to a power outage, for example.
Could someone with programming skills take over this Solar Panels app?
The original developer no longer responds (not even to a DM) and the app source is available via Github at GitHub - DiedB/Homey-SolarPanels: Connects production statistics of a wide range of PV inverters to Homey.
I would be very pleased if I could have the Enphase data available again in Homey.
What happen’s at your site?
Power done (all so your network/WiFi)
After that it not work any more?
Can you check if the device’s you miss that they have a DHCP Adress.
Check if they got the same IP address bach after a power down!!
Make the option in your ISP router or own DHCP reservation off the IP address.
Then the device’s got every time the same address back after a reboot (power loss) of your router
This in one off the most error’s you can get after a power down/cycle off your network/router and device’s
After a complete power failure, only the Envoy is recognized after a new installation of the Solar Panels app, but it only displays its own consumption and not the yield of the solar panels.
The Enphase has no DHCP binding (I have now added Envoy (too late)). I know the new IP address, but where should I check whether the original address is still available somewhere in Homey?
hello @Yendi , @Amersfoort
I have never found IP info on a Homey him self, only if it is add true the app.
But a lot off app def, only use the automaticly look up true Mdsn. (why not all so chooice with a IP field)
But if you can’t find any old IP addresses thne go futher
Make all your device’s with a reserved IP Address in your Router/DHCP
Remove every app where you have trouble with ad youd homey (remove first any device if it still in the show)
Then better to reboot your homey
And then starting again to add the app’s and then the device’s again with their own ip address recognition.
As far as i know i have never used a ip adres of my Envoy.
I installed the app, searched for new devices and added my credentials for connecting to the Envoy.
The only thing i mis on the app is the total energy i used on the day itself.
But also no respons of the developer.
There is also another Enphase thread with more users including me having issues.
If personally thought fuck it ditched the Enphase plugin and have installed a Shelly pm mini
Hi all, we’ve been made aware that unfortunately, @Diederik is no longer responsive. We’ve also attempted to reach out to him directly, but without success.
Given this situation, and the fact that most PV manufacturers also offer more than just solar panels, we’ve decided to split the Solar Panels app into separate apps for each brand.
The SolarEdge App was developed by @Emile some time ago. We’re now working with our agencies to create separate apps for Tigo, GroWatt, Enphase, and PVOutput. In addition, we’re exploring support for more device types—such as EV chargers, home batteries, and more (wherever APIs make integration possible).
The new official Growatt app is now ready for testing:
I NEED VOLUNTEERS WITH GROWATT DEVICES THAT ARE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR ACCOUNT DETAILS. I need this to develop drivers for battery support.
Also the omnik app Is no longer maintained by Lucas while I do have a wish.
Can someone take over that app? Or that the solar panels work in another app?
The PVOutput app is now also ready for testing:
