One little thing.
The tile says production today. That’s production over the lifetime. Would be great if I could get months of energy in one day ![]()
Enphase v7 its stays on zero . Firmware d7.6.114
Het koppelt wel maar hij blijft op nul
I have the same issue with my Growatt SPH6000 hybrid inverter “no new devices found” when trying to add my inverter
Bij mij blijft hij op.0 staan . Jij hebt trouwens geen lang nr achter Enphase staan. Heb ik wel. Had jij geen nr erachter staan ?
What happend to the support for SAJ inverters?
Some things have changed, which were reason to deprecate several brands:
- Compared to before, I have significantly less time for supporting this app
- The app is now ‘verified’ and works on Homey Cloud
- The app has been rebuilt from the ground up to modernise the code base and achieve the former
- I can only update the app as a whole, not just specific drivers/brands
The reason for a brand/driver being deprecated is one or more of the following:
- The pairing process is not user friendly (users have to manually grab IDs from some portal or find an IP address of their inverter)
- The vendor does not supply one API that supports most or all devices they sell
- The vendor has an API that is unstable (lots of downtime)
The above reasons lead to many support requests, which I don’t all have time for anymore. Additionally, Athom has guidelines on user friendliness, and the app wouldn’t get through if I would keep some of those drivers in.
It may seem frustrating because things worked just fine before the update. If there was a method to ‘freeze’ old installations, I would use it, but unfortunately this is the only practical way to move forward.
Hi Diederik,
I’m very happy with the app, so… i’m just reacting to your post for some others. .
Are you familiar with the homey community appstore? It currently is offline, but it will be online in a month or so again. Old versions can be downloaded from there. It might be helpfull for those who had a working app to be able to download it there.
Re Energieproductie (vandaag): Just give it another 24 hours. I had the same right after the install, but now (= the next day) it is working as expected.
It works ![]()
.
I made a flow already to Calc the difference, but I can now delete that one ![]()
@Diederik If tipping some coffee would help to find more time to re-add a driver (Kostal has been working flawlessly and was super easy to add before), I’d totally be willing to do so.
If not, I’d absolutely appreciate uploading an older version that included the drivers, to the community AppStore. That‘d totally be a help as well.
Doing something with the community app store would certainly be a possibility. Best-effort, no support, any PRs accepted.
For Kostal, I believe every product line of inverters has a different API. The most common one (Plenticore) was implemented, but that raised questions on why Piko inverters did not work. Also, there were just 18 users of the Kostal driver at its peak - of course, I’d like the app to work and keep it work for everyone, but in the interest of time, I needed to make some choices. It’s not just copying over the implementation, but also porting the whole thing to TypeScript and making it work with the new Homey SDK, and testing things afterwards while I do not have an inverter to test it with myself.
Is there all ready a solution for this Solis convertor to connect.
It’s stopped with one off the latest update’s.
And I can’t add a “solis” anymore.
I think this is your answer
And this little light on the horizon ![]()
My setup with Omnik inverter also stopped working unfortunatly after the last update… Also experienced that restoring a back-up to a previous version does not solve this.
It would be great if you can help us by providing an earlier version of the app via the community app store! ![]()
True. For the apps, only the app store links are backupped. When restoring a backup, current app versions get installed, not the version(s) you had running.
The Solar Edge inverter can be found, after restart of the App, but fails with" unknown error" at the next update of the data.
Could you submit a manual crash report from the app settings page?
Since the update (8.1.6) is my app crashed

I have reset the API, restart the app see a few seconds the values and then above message. Create a diagnostic report : 313fc31a-20bc-4a5f-8ba9-95f3b591d0cb
