Same here!
I was trying to see if I could control the Chill through Homey, but that’s not possible yet. Through the CiC I can read out the current temperature in the room and also see to what temperature the Chill is set, I think1?? I also see cooling icons in the status. But controlling it is still impossible. Unfortunately…
Correct, there are no chill actions/integrations just yet. But, a few weeks ago I ordered my first chill so I’ll be able to do some nice updates to the quatt homey app (as I’ll want to automate some stuff myself too) to support chill better! (Hopefully they’ll install it very soon)
Unless @trietsch already has a chill that he can develop for it.
I have temporarily enables it through my home assistant link, where the chills can be added. Works great, but full integration would be better![]()
I have a Quatt Chill myself, so I added support for it and submitted a pull request on Github.
The pull request adds full Quatt Chill support, including:
- Turning the Chill on and off.
- Switching between heating and cooling mode.
- Setting the target temperature.
- Setting the fan speed.
- Set the target temperature and viewing the current room temperature.
- Flow cards to detect when the condensate water tank is full.
- A dedicated widget to monitor and control the Chill more easily.
Hopefully @trietsch has some time to review and approve the pull request so Quatt Chill users can benefit from these new features.
For now I’ve merged it. The code looked good. Now we’ll have to wait for Robin to release it officially to the Homey store!
That’s amazing Erik!! Can’t wait to try it out. Hope it will be released soon.
Thanks for the patience all, I had quite a bit of trouble to find some time to review, merge and publish the app (had to go back and forth with Erik as well
).
The app with Quatt Chill support is currently live as test app, I’d like to request others that own Chill devices to test this thoroughly and see whether there are any issues that need to be resolved.
Credits to @Erikje !
Thanks for adding support for the Chills!
I installed the test app yesterday and tried to add the Chills multiple times, but I keep getting the message “no new devices found”.
Hi, please see more details here. I can’t test this myself as I don’t have a Quatt Chill, so it’s kinda hard
Thanks Erik and Robin!
I managed to pair my 2 chills and I can now start testing with them.
Thanks @trietsch and @Erikje for adding the chills! It would be great if there is a way to expand on the Quatt app to have the all-electric fully covered with Heat Battery and Heat Charger. Some level of interference with the Quatt system would be the ultimate, but I think Quatt doesn’t support much interaction, they keep it all in their own hands. For example, I would like to control when the heat charger heats the water, as it just does this independent on electricity tariffs…
Just testing now, the Chill doesn’t change status on the water reservoir; as HomeAssistant and Quatt App already alert on water level, the Homey device is still showing ‘OK’.

Sorry, I’m currently on vacation, so my replies may be a bit slower than usual.
Did you happen to create a flow using the trigger card? I noticed the same behavior. However, if I go back one step and then open the device again, it has actually updated.
Wish you a great vacation then!
Even after closing and reopening the water warning doesn’t update… I can only take it from the Homeassistant integration into Homey, which actually works.
