thanks!
I’ve sent Robin a message to help him with the repository and collaborate as maintainer so this project doesn’t get obsolete or forgotten ![]()
Ok, so I forked the repository, merged all the PR’s @Jeroen_van_Menen has made and tested them, they all worked flawlessly ![]()
Not only that, but I also added the Mobile API from Quatt, which allows you to have “then” triggers for your Quatt:
Setting that up is fairly easy, just “repair” the CiC device, and it will trigger the pairing process which is pretty straightforward.
The recent release of the HomeAssistant Quatt application made this possible to integrate this quickly.
It is not on the Homey App store as @trietsch owns that, so for now you can manually install it until Robin decides if he wants the updates merged to the original. (Or if Homey allows to swap the installation link in the store?)
The manual install guide is written inside the README.
Perfect, thanks will try that asap.
Though one correction, I was the receiving party @Jeroen_van_Menen did all the dev, testing and work, so all credit to him ![]()
Awesome @Denn1s so great to be able to also change some of the Quatt settings now!
Oh whoops! Sorry, I knew it was @Jeroen_van_Menen but somehow I just mistagged, my mistake here!
No worries Denn1s! very interested in the new flow options!!
Also Here same error. How can I fix this?
success!
Was able to change the update speed, unfortunately the hot water does not change faster than once every 5-20 (on is quicker than off) sec. but progress nevertheless!
can somebody check on their side. does the “power has changed tag” still track the power for all of you?
Just found out on my side that that has not changed since nov 6th….
apparently an old variable. - solved
Hallo,
Ik krijg een foutmelding in homey van de cic. Soms heel even verbonden en weer weg. Ik heb alles bekabeld na de modem.
Ok so a new update (1.6.0) for the alternative app: GitHub - WebBuildsNL/io.quatt: Unofficial Quatt app for Homey
I just fixed so that the Quatt unit now shows properly in energy! Apparently Homey is very specific as to which classes you use in order for it to show up on the energy tab.
trietsch @Denn1s I might be a bit quick, but I noticed you’re busy making updates to the app! My first observation is that I haven’t seen the Quatt appear in the energy dashboard yet (even though it’s mentioned in the changelog). Am I doing something wrong, or does it not work yet? ![]()
Btw, this thread should be in English, Athom is pretty strict with that.
Je bent nog iets te snel
Athom moet eerst de wijzigingen goedkeuren. De app is wel al beschikbaar als test app. Die kun je evt installeren.
Yes, Robin and I met today (was awesome meeting you!), all of our changes we’re merged so I will be archiving my repository so we can continue on the one that was published to the Homey app store.
If you have any suggestions or feedback, let us know!
I have been working a bit on widgets for the Quatt app, might whip up something cool here.
Likewise Dennis! Good to have you as a collaborator on the app ![]()
@trietsch @Denn1s , I installed the development version through github. If I now want to go back to the test version here, Do I just install that one over the existing one? will that go oke?
Yes, you can switch to the Homey app store version soon. Wait for it to be released, you can safely install it while you have the Github one installed, it will just overwrite it.
But, wait for 1.6 to be released on the Homey app store, they are currently reviewing it.
i upgraded to 1.8.0 but still the quatt is not reporting in energy, is that normal? i recall reading that it would be included in energy?
EDIT: re added the CIC and now it’s working!
Hi, my connection failed after the upgrade to 1.8. I removed the app and installed it again, but still no connection. What goes wrong?
