Hi @snowboardrulez - when using the card you are referring to, Retry and Expire is preset.

If you would like, I can add an extra card where you can set these values of choice - as of the rule you did paste from the documentation, I find it a bit confusing for users to define these values because of the complexity of max and min values. Let me know if you would like control and I will add a new card.

If you could add this as an extra card with these specific presets I think that would be great. If I remember correctly from the older/other version of pushover that I used that this separate card could also be selected. Thanks in advance.

Now supports retry and expire. Install test-version to access the functionality for now. Parameters have been added as optional, so should not break.

Thanks a lot for your quick fix. I tested it and Retry and Expire parameters work fine!! Can you make a small adjustment and add extra card without the url parameters, but with the possibility to send a picture. See below.

I have played around with Pushover app in Homey pro lately and have a few questions:

I want to make a group message in case of Alarm in Heimdall. I can get it to work with sending notification to one device at a time.

  1. How do i create a group with multiple devices to receive the notification?
  2. How do I make Pushover send loud Notification even if my iPhone is on silent mode?

I think I’ve got you covered.

  1. Groups
    In Homey, go to Settings, Apps section, Pushover, Configure and you scroll down a bit, you should see this section:

From the Pushover website and logged in, you will find the “Delivery Group” and from there you can create a group and get the “ID” from the website:

  1. “Loud notification”:
    If you visit the documentation in the api-settings from Pushover, there are several variants:

The cards, in Homey, do have Priority and some have “retry” and “expire”, which is only affected in Emergency.

What is the default setting for Retry and Expiry? If i want a notification every 30 second for 20 min, i put in Retry = 30 and Expiry = 6000. But nothing happens. However, if i set it to blank, i am being notified immediately.

How do i set it up so i get a notification every 30 seconds for 20 min until i acknowledge the message?

You need to use emergency choice.

You will need to “study” this:
Pushover: API => Emergency Priority (2)

Default I think is: 5 + 20

Sorry to say but the app Pushover constantly crashes in Homey Pro early 2023 :sad_but_relieved_face: It worked fine for 2 days, then I wanted to add a second device, but then the troubles began. I tried everything; delete and reinstall the app (even after clear cache from Homey, creating another account with a different email adress, tried it on my wife’s phone…nothing works anymore. As soon as I fill in the api token and restart the app it’s all over. App crashes all the time. Can you please help me?

Thanks to Kim, problem solved. He put me in the right direction by looking to my settings. Seems that Homey had a problem, reaching the pushover servers. Rebooting the Homey Pro device did the trick. Again, thank you very much Kim. :smiley::smiley::+1::+1:

Ik heb pushover geïnstalleerd op mijn homey pro, maar ik snap helemaal niets van hoe ik deze app moet instellen. Heeft iemand een Nederlandse handleiding hoe ik pushover moet instellen en wat ik in alle invulvensters moet plaatsen?

that is exactly my problem, i dont understand the english terms i have to enter in the settings of pushover. i read and write english but im not well educated in these kind of terms. For instance, what is app token? And how do i get my user key . I installed pushover in Homey pro, but on the website it states i have to install…is there a Dutch manual, suited for non experienced users?
