I have still the problem that the price is not good. Strange that wasdroger is still 0,00 euro. I have use the wasdroger??
Hi,
Iâm new to pbth so I might missed something, but it seems that the app doesnât fetch the correct prices for the Finnish market at least.
Official prices for this day (21.12.2024) to the left and todays prices according to pbth to the right
It seems that the pbth prices is around 1,4-1,6 âŹ-cents below the official prices.
Have anyone else had similar issues and now how to fix them?
Thanks, Talkkari
Most likely there is nothing wrong and the difference can be explained by looking in to both definitions of âpriceâ. The difference can be explained by different price components like VAT ore whatever price components are involved. So if you want a see a price based on other price components, you have to adjust it your self, or make a clear request to the developer.
As you can see below, prices of PBTH differs from yours. Most likely because they are updated all the time. So maybe price differences can be explained by different times?
@Harrie many thanks for your donation! Much appreciated ![]()

What is your source for the Finnish prices picture. It possibly has the energy tax also included in addition to VAT 25.5%.
This graf shows todays prices with VAT, excluding energy tax.
Exactly the same as with PbtH when only VAT is set for the markup %
If you set Fixed markup per kWH to current energy tax / kWh should fix your values.
@johan_W thanks (again!) for your donation. ![]()

Just looking to get back into Homey, by chance does the Power by the Hour give 30 minute rates?
Just trying to get Octopus Agile rates to work but wanted to check some things.
This is what I have set but wanted to see if its how it should be?
This is based on the website where they give the info.
D= 2.00
P= 14
Octopus Energy Agile are based on 30 minute rates so not sure if this will actually work.
I have the pbth app but I have no idea on how to set my innr plugs to be a pbht device. Can you tell me what I need to do?
Update. I found it.
@Guus_Dupon There are plenty of tutorials to be found here but I can help you out with this.
- Add Device (Power by the Hour)
- Choose âPower Summarizerâ
- Press âConnectâ
- Choose your device in the âNew Devices Foundâ list (NameOfYourDevice_ÎŁpower)
- Press âContinueâ
- On the âDevice Connectedâ prompt press âContinue Setupâ
- Choose a zone where to drop your PTBH device
- Press âFinishâ
- You have a brand new PTBH device on which you can choose the âStatus Indicatorâ
- Flows are automatically added for automation
- Go to settings and give it a (another) name
- In settings: change the number of decimals (Iâve mine set on 2), set tariff if you want
- If your original device doesnât give Energy Measurement (kWh) set âUse Watt as sourceâ to âYesâ
- Set Exclude from Energy to âNoâ at the bottom and your original physical device to âYesâ
- Here you go

Thank you. I found out how to ad them but your tutorial is way more elaborate and gave me more info.
Let me know if it works ![]()
Will do. I am adding now
Sadly it did not work with this methode. But i learned a cool new app.
I did found an other way to get them working.
It came from a weird angle but still happy i got then working.
You need to remove the plugs out of homey. Get them out of the outlet. Put them back and instal them again in homey. Then when the green light stopped blinking repair via homey the plug and then it should work.
@Guus_Dupon OK, great, something was problematic with the integration from the beginning then. But, if now, you add them also the way I described youâll have all the advantages I described⊠![]()
I all ready did that still working some stuff out but i like it
@Guus_Dupon Just some info, if you add the PBTH devices and/or delete some devices by putting âExclude from Energyâ to âYesâ it can takes hours before disappearing from the Bulk Users section. So, no worries if you see multiple instances like PBTH and physical devices co-exist at the same time even if you disabled one or more of those.
Thanks for the headsup
By Zonneplan I will use there gas maximum prices cut.
Therefore I have to added 2.5 cents by the mÂł price for some months.
Can the âExtra Of Day markupâ used for that.
And can it be in this way? 0-23:0,025. (âŹ)
Then the other fields hold there real values.
Just use a flow that changes the markup on the start and end date.
