[APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year

I agree.

I did send the logs to:

Ah, I think you have price predictions enabled, correct?
Price predictions is broken at the moment, so you should disable it.

This fixed it, Robin.

Correct.
1: Changed the settings (price predictions) → still the same
2: Restart app → works normal again

Thanks for the fix

Didn’t need to restart the app. Just FYI.

We wrote in the German thread. I don’t get any of the German prices displayed, not even with the LU version.

I have created a support log for you

I cannot reproduce your issue. German prices working good here.

Arr you using the latest PBTH version?

v6.6.5

Strange, I can’t see any prices. I’ve already restarted the app but to no avail.

Edit: Crazy now I see the price

But when I change something in the settings I get a timeout 1000ms error and it doesn’t apply the settings e.g. price per kw/h additional

Is it not possible for me to see the price as shown by Tibber, for example, with taxes and fees? The fees are always changing and are not fixed.

Maybe this helps: When you change settings, the device is restarted by PBTH app. This takes a couple of seconds. Just exit the settings screen and device pages and wait until red exclamation mark on device is gone. After that open device and settings again to see (effects off) your change.

Kindly asking for help again.

Maybe my text was too long or it just was not interesting :innocent:.

In short:

Is there a possibility to calculate the difference between minimum and maximum hour prices for the known period ahead?

  1. Calculate price difference
  2. Toggle actions based on calculated price difference (X).

I’m kinda convinced this should work with PBTH, but also looked for other energy price apps to extract data in a simple way. But no succes yet.

Good morning, I hope someone can help me. I have created a HomeWizard (electricity)_Power (probably to read the prices?).

But I get completely wrong prices, I have a dynamic contract with Zonneplan. Can someone help me with this? I get the comment, when filling in current tariff per kWh (the tariff is used to calculate the monetary value. it can be dynamically adjusted via a flow/DAP) - but how do I create this?

To be sure, I will add all the pictures here in the hope that someone can help me.

The big lines for what I can think off:

  • Use the JSON tag with hourly prices (save in a variable)
  • Calculate price difference in a homey script and trigger action from this script (or save result in a variable and trigger action based on this variable).

Did you use the “day ahead prices” device of PBTH

Yes, I think I have it:

And I have this one:

I do it like this:

I just put a simple calculation by subtracting the lowest price of the day from the highest price of the day. Leaving the difference in a Homey variable.

You can use that variable to continue (or not) another flow:

For example I do not charge / discharge a home battery if the difference is less than 0.09.

Thanks for the suggestions! Reaching new area’s of my Homey expertise here…

The first one sounds doable with a little studying, but when it comes to scripts i’m a novice.

The solution from Satoer is more comfortable for me, will try that first. Thanks again.

This looks feasible. Why could’t I find this….

Will give it a try, thanks!
