New test version!
Fix
Live PostNL data and widget archive are now separated: Device information now uses only the current live mail data returned by PostNL. Older archived mail items no longer affect the device capabilities.
This fixes situations where:
- Mail expected remained active because of older mail
- Mail items showed too many items
- Next delivery showed an old delivery date
- the device image showed an older mail item instead of the latest current item
Flow triggers and tokens now use live mail only: Mail-related Flow triggers and tokens are now based exclusively on the current PostNL response.
Archived mail items can therefore no longer trigger a new-mail Flow or populate tokens as if they were current mail.
Device image now follows current mail: The PostNL device image now uses the newest available image from the current live PostNL mail list.
Improvement
My Post widget keeps mail history: The My Post widget still keeps the local mail archive for up to 21 days, so previously received mail scans remain available.
The newest mail item is always shown first on the left, followed by older mail items.
Improved next-delivery calculation: Old delivery dates are ignored when determining Next delivery. Only current or upcoming delivery dates are considered.
Expanded Homey App Store tags: Added more Dutch and English search terms including PostNL, post, letter, letters, mail, mail items, parcel, parcels, package, packages, delivery, shipment, tracking, brief, brieven, poststuk, poststukken, pakket, pakketten, bezorging and related terms.
Under-the-Hood Enhancements: In this version of PostNL, we’ve made some minor improvements to enhance overall performance and logging for user experience.
