Hello SergeP,
I have a new NOUS B1Z which is detected as an Unknown Zigbee Device when pairing through the NOUS B1Z driver.

Manufacturer ID: _TZ3000_v5498kdm
Product ID: TS0001
NOUS app version: 2.19.0

Could you please add this new manufacturer ID to the B1Z driver?
Thanks!

Hi Antek_Tek,

A new version has been published in test with your device IDs (_TZ3000_v5498kdm / TS0001) for Nous Smart Switch Module (B1Z) :

Can you please test it and confirm all is Ok for you ?

Regards,
SoPhos

Hi, thank you for your responsiveness, indeed everything works well!

Best regards.

Hi Antek_Tek,

Nice, thank you. So App has now been pushed to live version.
It’ll be validated in few hours.

Hi Serge,

I bought the NOUS B3Z but unfortunately I can’t pair it with my Homey SHS :frowning: Homey finds the device but immediately I get an error “can’t connect”. I’ve tried several things: restarting the pairing several times and closely to the Homey Bridge, even unpaired another zigbee device hoping this does the job, but nothing works. I’ve more less then 15 zigbee devices so that can’t be the reason.

What else can I do? I really need to pair this device to my Homey.

Grtz. Ton

Hi Ton_vanderKruijssen,

I’ve just pushed a new test version to try to improve pairing on Nous B3Z device.
Can you try this version and tell me if pairing is better, please :

Hello Sophos,

First, thank you very much for your quick reply and your work!!!

I’ve restarted the Nous-app and the Homey app on my phone, just to be sure.

I’ve just tried it but again, no result… Homey sees the device very quickly, the led stops blinking and immediately I get the same fault: cannot connect.

Must I restart my Homey SHS as well?

Ton

HI Ton_vanderKruijssen,

In this case, yes, you should restart your Homey box (even unplug it) to fully init Zigbee network.

SoPhos

Hi Sophos,

I’ve turned off my Homey SHS and short thereafter restarted it. Doesn’t work: no difference in the results. I’ve just turned off my Home Bridge and tried again but the same response: device is seen but almost immediately rejected…

Regards, Ton

Also tried to install under Tuya Zigbee and the standard Zigbee app but again and again the same problem.
I’m however very thankfull for you’re doing your best to solve this problem!

Grtz. Ton

Hi Sophos,

I’m so sorry: just looked into the app and I was still using the v2.19.1 release :frowning:
I didn’t know I had to install the test version, so I did it a few minutes ago.

I now shut off the server and repeat again the pairing steps. :crossed_fingers:

Hi Sophos,

It is pairing and working, however very unstable… I get a lot off timeout errors and the device is reacting very slowly on my commands. The energy measurement is also not adequate. Even my other devices seem to be effected: some of them give also timeout problems so I had to replace a backup at last.
I want to thank you very much for your efforts but I’ve decided to return the device and look for another solution.

Best regards,

Ton

Bonjour, pour moi aussi sa fonctionne pas jai plusieur b3z et tous ne fonctionne pas impossible de l’appareiller, jai mis a jour le module via la passerelle zigbee nous et supprimer l’appareil toujours la meme chose

Hi Cedric_Hubert,

In English please.

Btw, can you send a report log, please.
And also, which App version do you use ?

Hello,
I just bought some Nous D5Z Pro relays.
I can’t pair them; I keep getting the same error message: “Connection failed, something went wrong while adding this device, please try again.”
Yet, I’ve had a D3Z installed for months that works perfectly.
I’ve already tried several times with two of the units… I’m not going to do it for all five!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Best regards,

Hi Didier_Pasquet,

During my tests integrating the Nous D5Z, I encountered the same pairing issues.

I’m not sure whether a firmware update has been released since then, but it is essential that the graphite measuring ring (the one with the yellow cable) is connected to the D5Z and not positioned too close to the D5Z itself; otherwise, the pairing process will not work.

In working mode, the ring must still be connected and if it’s too close to the D5Z, the unit will go On then OFF when receiving on command.

SoPhos

Thanks for the information.
I tried with the power monitoring clamp connected, but it didn’t help.
I even unplugged my D3Z module to avoid conflicts, but that didn’t work either; I’m still getting the error message.
It must be coming from something else…

Hello,

i see that in developer tool

Does that ring a bell?

best regards

Hi Didier_Pasquet,

Sorry for the delay but I was very busy these past days.
I can’t read data on your picture, can you confirm Manufacturer and Model ID, pleae ?
I don’t hink this unit is the Nous D5Z Pro one.

Btw, I published a new test version of Nous App cleaning Bindings for the Nous DXZ and Nous D5Z Pro driver. Can you test it and tell me, please :
