First of all, Happy New Year to you and your families !
I’m actually working on a new App for NOUS devices on Homey.
There already is a great App called Tuya Zigbee wich seems compatible with Zigbee Nous devices.
So I bought one of them and found that it was very hard to identify in Tuya Zigbee App which device was the good one for my Nous product ref. And finally, it even haven’t been recognized !
So, I decided to make a dedicated App only for NOUS devices
At this time, it’s working with Zigbee NOUS devices :
Great !!
We wish you success . We really need more devices available and NOUS is nice. Moes has also many useful devices if you need inspiration for more apps !!
This is not a problem, maybe device id must only be added.
Can you go into the settings of the generic generated device and tell me the Manufacturer and Device Id written in settings ?
I bought some nous Smart Sockets. They work fine after integration but do not work after some time (red !). Restarting the App helps sometimes, at latest rebooting Homey Pro helps. But they get lost after a day again. Is that a App issue or something else?
As this regards all the nous devices (every single one has the red exclamation in Homey App), I think it is not a connectivity issue (as 4 of the plugs are near the homey itself).
As far as I know, there is no problem with NOUS Smart Plug in NOUS App.
I personnaly use 6 units without any problem for few weeks now.
Can you tell us what is the message displayed when units are red ?
And can you test adding one of them (a not working one) with Homey Standard generic driver (“Add device” - “Homey” - “Zigbee”) and test it for at least one day ?
somehow the error did not appear again since I posted here… no idea why I keep a close look . Maybe it will go back to throw errors after that post - I hope not though
Will get back to you with more information, if it happens again.
Thanks!
Would there be any chance of you adding support for the Nous A1 at any point? since when adding a smart plug it shows the Zigbee info, I’m not guessing it supports the A1 wich is Wifi
