v0.3.3
New
GLS without an account: Track GLS parcels with just your postal code and tracking number — no MyGLS business account needed anymore. Works in 20 countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Poland, the United States and Canada.
More GLS parcel data: New GLS capabilities and Flow tokens for next delivery, delivery window, sender, recipient, last event, ParcelShop, weight, dimensions, status history and a direct tracking link. In the Netherlands GLS also shares weight, dimensions and the delivery window.
New GLS Flow cards: Triggers for tracking event, out for delivery, ready for pickup, delivered and problem or returning, conditions for out for delivery, ready for pickup, a parcel has status…, parcel … is delivered and parcel … is being tracked, and actions to track a parcel, stop tracking a parcel and remove delivered parcels — so a tracking number from an e-mail Flow can be added automatically.
DPD in 19 countries: Choose your country when pairing DPD: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany (DPD Paketnavigator), Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy (BRT), Portugal, Poland (mobile number + one SMS code), Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Argentina.
More DPD capabilities and Flow cards: New capabilities for next delivery, out for delivery, en route to ParcelShop, ready for pickup, recently delivered and sent parcels underway. New triggers for tracking event, out for delivery, ready for pickup, problem or returning, sent parcel status changed and sent parcel delivered, plus new conditions. All DPD triggers now also carry status code, DPD status, window start/end, delivered time, history, tracking link and country as tokens.
All carriers in the MyParcel widgets: MyParcel Pakketten and MyParcel Bezorging now show every carrier automatically, including GLS and DPD devices you add later. Prefer a selection? Turn off Show all carriers in the widget settings.
New PostNL device icon.
Fix
MyParcel Bezorging statuses and timeline: The widget now uses each carrier’s own status, so “Je pakket wordt vandaag bezorgd” no longer shows as Delivered, GLS and DPD statuses are translated, and the timeline steps (Registered → Sorting → On the way → Delivered) follow the real status instead of guessing from the text. The last update is shown as a readable date.
Memory limit crashes: MyParcel no longer runs out of memory with large PostNL accounts. The 800×800 PostNL delivery image was redrawn for every parcel on every sync and again every 30 seconds by the delivery-window check — including all old delivered parcels.
“Wordt vandaag bezorgd” counted as delivered: The PostNL status “Je pakket wordt vandaag bezorgd” was treated as delivered, so the Package delivered Flow could fire while the courier was still on the way.
No more repeated triggers: PostNL, GLS and DPD now fire every parcel trigger once per change — no “new parcel” storm on the first sync or after an app restart, and no repeats when a carrier briefly drops, re-lists or flips a parcel.
App crash on start: Fixed a crash loop caused by non-existent PostNL delivery-window Flow cards.
Improvement
Images on demand: The PostNL delivery image is now only drawn when someone actually opens it, and reused as long as nothing changes. It still looks pixel for pixel the same.
Far less background work: In a test with 6 active and 120 old PostNL parcels over 35 minutes, MyParcel drew 2 instead of 333 images, made 59 instead of 7,812 Track & Trace requests, downloaded mail scans 10 instead of 620 times and stored 46 KB instead of 694 KB.
Smarter Track & Trace: PostNL Track & Trace is only fetched for active parcels (max. 3 at a time); delivered parcels reuse their earlier result. MyParcel keeps the 15 most recent delivered PostNL parcels.
Mail scans once: Each mail scan is downloaded once and kept in memory, instead of on every sync.
Quieter widgets: Widgets no longer start a full sync every minute per open screen; widget refreshes are limited to once every 5 minutes per device.
DPD stays signed in: DPD reuses its login session instead of signing in on every refresh, and parcel details are only fetched again when a status changes.
Smart polling for GLS and DPD: Every 15 minutes when a delivery is near, every 45 minutes otherwise, and quiet at night. A network hiccup shows a warning with the last known data instead of making the device unavailable.
