DHL without an account: Track DHL Parcel numbers (JJD…, 3S…) with just the tracking number — in the device settings, while pairing or from a Flow. A My DHL account is optional now.
DHL Express with parcels: Track DHL Express shipments with their 10-digit air waybill, no account needed. Your MyDHL+ login keeps working and can be combined.
More DHL parcel data: New capabilities and Flow tokens for next delivery, out for delivery, ServicePoint / Packstation, ready for pickup, recently delivered, sent parcels, last event, status history and a direct tracking link. DHL Express adds pieces, origin and the proof-of-delivery link.
New DHL Flow cards on all three DHL devices: triggers for new parcel, tracking event, out for delivery, ready for pickup, problem or returning and sent parcels, conditions for out for delivery, ready for pickup, a parcel has status…, parcel … is delivered and parcel … is being tracked, and actions to track a parcel, stop tracking and remove delivered parcels.
Post & DHL Germany like Home Assistant: Packstation pickups with the Packstation address, returns and sent parcels, plus an optional DHL.de login (from a German internet connection) for extra tracking numbers.
DHL Pakete widget for Post & DHL Germany, and all DHL devices now show up in MyParcel Pakketten and MyParcel Bezorging with the right status and timeline.
DHL Express now uses the same device images as DHL.
Fix
No more repeated DHL triggers: “Shipment delivered” fired for every old parcel right after pairing and again when DHL briefly dropped and re-listed a parcel. Every DHL trigger now fires once per change, also after an app restart.
DHL statuses recognised: Out for delivery, ready at a ServicePoint, delivered at the neighbours or in the mailbox and returns were not recognised by DHL — DHL’s own status codes are now used.
DHL Express “Not connected”: The connection status of DHL Express switched to “Not connected” every 30 seconds and the delivery-window trigger fired twice.
DHL Express session: An expired MyDHL+ session now signs in again instead of failing on every refresh.
Post & DHL Germany crash: The device could crash on start and stop polling; login tokens are now saved immediately after a refresh.
Improvement
Smart polling for DHL: Every 15 minutes when a delivery is near, every 30–45 minutes otherwise, and quiet at night.
Status history only when needed: DHL history is only fetched when a parcel’s status changes.
Friendly to DHL Express: Air waybills are looked up within DHL Express’ own budget (one lookup per 40 minutes), shipments with the courier first, and MyParcel backs off when DHL asks to slow down.
No more “unavailable” on a hiccup: A network hiccup shows a warning with the last known data instead of making the DHL device unavailable.
Delivered parcels tidy up: Delivered DHL parcels are hidden after a configurable number of days.
