The fix is ready, but deployed only for the iOS v9 (beta). I read threads where developers asked for the fix deployment on the production app (v8), but Athom didn’t react.
Hi, I have a strange problem where I can’t set the temperature of my Hero LN35. I tested my flows, I manually changed in the Device and in the Melcoud app but they are all reverted back within seconds.
The temperate it reverts back to is the same as the target temperature in the settings;
Hi @KWallin, if you say that it does not work even from the official MELCloud app, that probably means that the communication between the Cloud and your device is broken. You can try to turn off the power (not only turn off the device), or pair again the Wi-Fi connector. Otherwise you need to contact Mitsubishi.
Hi, I will do some more tests when I come home. I forgot to say that I was able to change the speed from the Melcloud app and it is replicated to the device. The only thing that made me report was this target temperature that is the same that it reverts to. I will deactivate your app and try my backup, Sensibo, next. Will report the findings.
Hi, I experience the exact same thing after adding a new heat-pump identical to my existing. They are both identically defined in MelCloud. As I understand it relates to Homey not recognising this as a “Climate” Device. Strange thing, though, is that the existing similar unit function as it should with full Thermostat (red / blue / grey circle around temp in Homey) so it obviously apply’s only to newly defined units
Hi @Dag_Gulbrandsrud, this is not strange and works as expected… but not as wanted
You created the first devices when their class was set as “thermostat” in the app.
Recently a new “heat pump” class has been created: in the app I set to this new class, but existing devices cannot be migrated without being recreated: only new devices can benefit from this new class.
Tried to add your widget, but it made my Homey app nearly freeze, because of the fire in the bottom (I guess). Impossible to scroll and to save the layout. Tried it on a Samsung S21 FE mobile phone.
