Any problems with he app? Was working fine untill today where the battery level is not updating. Got 16% in homey 100% in marstek app. I’m connected via the cloud.
Tried to restart app. Log into marstek app. Removed and readded device in homey but doesn’t seem
For me not. Yet I switched to the api connection and this works. Only disadvantage is that I can’t get the energyconsumption graph anymore in watt which inquire annoying because gave me a clear view of when it is charging and discharging and this seems to be gone now. Not sure their is a solution for this?
That seems to be related to the firmware 146 not communicating all values from the ‘ES.GetStatus’ API command anymore. If more people report this to Marstek; perhaps they will fix it in a future firmware update?
I’ve noticed that a firmware update is only delivered when asked. The mobile app always says you are on the latest, unless you ask for an update.
How can I set the battery (Venus E3.0) to discharge the wattage registered by the Homey Energy Dongle between 18:00 and 20:00, which should compensate what otherwise come from the energy supplier? I don’t see a Then card with manual discharge to which I can link the wattage amount to the #Power of the Homey Energy Dongle.
It would be fantastic if you have a working (advanced) flow and would be willing to share it with me. I am not very skilled at creating these kinds of flows yet. Any advice is welcome.
Thank you in advance!
Hello, disabling the bluetooth helps a lot with battery resets.
I did not had any resets anymore since i disabled the bluetooth stack.
One of my batteries was resetting allmost avery day.
seems that the BT stack was annoying the local api?
@eniewold hi great app, for the moment really like it.
i was wondering I see in the cloud connection you can get the energy consumption in wattage. But not in the api connection. Is there a reason for this? Would be great to also get this data via api if possible?
@eniewold
Could you take a look at “Battery charging state” and “Power”? These are not displayed on my Marstek Venus E3.0. I especially hope you can get the “Battery charging state” working.
Unfortunately the Venus V3 with firmware 146 does not seem to communicate the values for ‘power’ anymore. Since the API is not sending this value, there is nothing I can do. If enough people contact Marstek about the missing ‘bat_power’ property from the ‘ES.GetStatus’ API call, perhaps they are able to fix this?

@eniewold Is it possible to create flowcards for turning the LED lights on and off at the Marstek? I would like to turn them off at night. Thanks in advance.
Running firmware V148 and having reset issues - and wondering if other people have this too.
Or putting it differently; A couple of times a day my battery just ends up in ‘Manual’ mode instead of ‘Self Initiated’ (solarpanels). If I disable the Marstek Venus Connector app in Homey, it stays in ‘Self Initiatied’.
Edit; reading back I am not the only one …
Edit 2; just got new firmware pushed this morning, I will check if it helps.
Edit 3; Nope, didn’t help. Even setting the update interval to 1200s crashes the battery…
