Hi everyone,
I am about to purchase a Marstek Venus E Max (10 kWh), specifically because I want to control it via Homey based on dynamic pricing. Before I order, I want to be sure that this will work.
In the app store, only the Venus E and the Venus D are listed as supported devices for this app. The Venus E Max is not mentioned. Hence my questions:
Does the Venus E driver also work on the Venus E Max, or is it a separate device that is not yet supported?
If so: do the main flow cards work fully on it? I am thinking mainly of ‘Set the target power’ with the Homey setting, and setting the charging and discharging cutoff SOC.
Is there anyone who actually has a Venus E Max running with this app? If so, on which battery firmware, and via Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet?
If the Max is not yet supported: is that on the roadmap, and can I contribute to that in some way (testing, providing logs)? Context of my setup: Homey Pro, three-phase connection, solar panels with their own inverter, and a dynamic contract starting in March. The battery needs to run a cycle daily based on price differences, so reliable control from Homey is not an extra for me, but the core of the business case.

But I will work with you to make it sorted if the driver first work yet or completely.
I do suggest to use a serial modbus gateway for improved stability. The v3 150 firmware seems to have stability issues.
