@Tim_Wilkinson can you please help us?

Enphase does work now for total amount produced, but the current power (“vermogen”) only seems to update once or twice a day. I had a current power of 1300watts in the middle of the night, because that was update 13 hours ago…. The current power is also not shown in the tile on the energy page.
Zonnepanelen won’t work for me, as my Envoy isn’t metered, and therefor only reports his own power usage, not those from the solar panels (wich have micro inverters).
After so long for any response of this developer. I assume he has left the building. How to report this at homey so it can be removed from the homey App Store? Anybody had experience with this?
This almost never happens. I guessume it’s marketing related (“look how many apps we have!”)
Plus, the developer has to request removal AFAIK. Devs have no (support) obligation whatsoever to you.
That’s kinda weird isn’t it? That will give a lot off pollution in the coming years when developers drop an app and don’t maintain. Hahaha
also nice advertising. Look at this ap that doesnt work for last 4 years. Hope that homey will make some rules in this in the future as client and developer network is still expanding. But he. That’s just my opinion.
Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with the IQ Insights app on my Homey Pro.
IQ Insights used to work before, but since a few days it no longer discovers any panels / microinverters during device pairing.
I have already performed the following steps:
Removed the IQ Insights app completely
Reinstalled the app
Rebooted Homey Pro
Rebooted the Enphase Envoy / IQ Gateway
Verified that the Envoy is online again and shows data
Verified that the official Enphase Homey app works correctly and shows production/data
Router: FRITZ!Box
Envoy / IQ Gateway: 192.168.178.197
Homey Pro Base: 192.168.178.8
Homey Pro WiFi: 192.168.178.118
All devices are in the same subnet (192.168.178.x), so this does not appear to be a basic network reachability issue.
Since the official Enphase app works in Homey, I believe the following components are functioning correctly:
Enphase account / data source
Envoy / IQ Gateway
Homey Pro itself
basic local network connectivity
This makes it look like the problem is specific to IQ Insights, either in discovery, pairing, or compatibility with my current Envoy setup.
IQ Insights installs normally
Pairing process starts
No panels / microinverters are found
Could you let me know:
whether this is a known issue,
whether there are specific Envoy firmware compatibility limitations,
or whether extra logging / diagnostics are needed?
Thank you.
Exactly, I had the same experience. It always worked without a hitch, until a red triangle appeared next to all the panels in Homey and the panels could no longer be accessed in the Homey environment.
Here it does not work since 27 January 2026. The problem is also reported in GitHub, but no response. I just gave up and switched to the app “Zonnepanelen”.
Have you also tried the official Enphase app for Homey?
Thats the most useless app there is. The delay on the readings is over 15 minutes old and no matter how I try, AND I cannot see my IQ8 micro’s. I’m using Zonnepanelen app for my actual readings as the delay is barely a minute.
I’m using the IQ Insights app for reports on unexpected lack of production monitoring (like a non reporting micro or a broken panel, not they are excluded from the Homey Insights) as the official Enphase app is really lacking a good notification function if anything out of the ordinary happens.
The IQ Insigths stopped working for me some months ago. Micro"s cannot connect anymore. There is a forumtread about this, wich i currently cannot find. The app developer has not responded for several months.
After your reply I’ve looked around as well, but I cannot find it either.
Anyways, thanks for updating me about the current situation.
Had a brain fart and suddenly remembered how to find it: [APP][Pro] IQ Insights - Monitor individual Enphase microinverters to get the best out of your solar system - #69 by Rmb
Do you know if the IP address of the Enphase gateway is changing?
That is a valid question. They aren’t locked in the modem. However, based on my memory I would say they are still the same for the LAN and WAN address.
@Tim_Wilkinson my gateway is plugged in to the my modem directly, and my guess is it changes. In the Enphase en Zonnepanelen app I can find it and it keeps connected (although it doesn’t update power enough, mainly because it isn’t metered, because the inverters can).
Therefore I was glad the IQinsights app worked like a charme up until about January. Offcourse this should connect to the inverters, not the gateway. Or does it use the gateway? The last few updates seem to give baby steps to get it up and running again. I can now come to and stay on the add devices page, without an error. Sadly it won’t find my inverters though. Any suggestions?
Glad to see you connected BTW!
Same here, and if it helps, I have a static ip-address for years for both the modem/router and the envoy gateway. Also here it stopped working since Jan 2026
Since the update of the app to 1.1.4 this early morning it works again.
By the way, the app communicates with the Enphase gateway.
Not on my side. When adding a new device it is requesting and accepting the email/password, but after that it is not showing new devices. Before Jan’26 it worked fine.
