Can’t automate devices that don’t have power either!
I am trying to diversify used protocols… but Z-wave devices are rare as rocking horse here in UK, so I only have a handful of them. But my Matter over Thread and WiFi devices are growing in number. And unfortunately was unable to escape the WiFi only devices in a few instances. Shelly devices are fine, as you can turn off cloud connectivity in their settings and use them local only. And my ReoLink cameras although they are PoE IP devices, they are fully local control.
But things like my Dreo fans, dehumidifier etc and Alexa Echo devices are WiFi cloud only That’s kinda unavoidable, but I’m yet to be convinced of an alternative that I like and works as well for me.
Soon I will have eradicated my smart home of the dreaded Tapo devices (mostly smart plugs) as I skimped when I originally bought them years ago and the P110’s rather than the more expensive P110M Matter versions. But you can never have so much experience as not to learn new lessons

From what time I have had tinkering with the innr bridge, I can’t say I have been overly impressed with it. It doesn’t even tell you what Zigbee channel it’s using (or at least I haven’t found it yet).
When I get chance I will still get that lights data for you if you wish? So you can expand and develop your app. But I think I’m going to go down the Aqara Home hub route… and relegate the innr bridge to a box of abandoned projects and retired networking kit
That’s true, it doesn’t tell you that anywhere (also not readable via the API). It has probably been designed for simplicity.
Innr almost certainly doesn’t manufacture the Bridge theirself. The cloud platform that Innr’s mobile app and this Homey app use (Arnoo) is very generic and seems to be a large IoT platform that supports WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, cameras (P2P protocols), and many other devices from many different brands.
When you look up the Innr bridge MAC address, you’ll see the manufacturer “Leedarson Lighting”. This seems to be an ODM (= Original Design Manufacturer), basically a company that builds devices with everything already built (PCB, cloud platform, WiFi/Zigbee modules, etc.) and sells them to other companies (like Innr) with a custom branding. So you don’t actually have an Innr bridge, you have a Leedarson bridge with an Innr case. If we look at other brands with Zigbee bridges that use the Arnoo platform, I think you’ll understand what I mean. This is Linkind’s Zigbee bridge, next to Innr’s:
As you can see, the alignment of the ports and LED lights matches 100%. The Linkind bridge almost certainly contains the exact same PCB, the only difference is the case. Also, the GU10 bulbs on Leedarson’s website look suspiciously similar to Innr’s
So what I think is happening here is that Leedarson is the manufacturer that produces the Bridge and possibly some lights as well (and also the remotes, Ynoa also uses Leedarson and their LA-5KEY-RGBW remote looks identical to the Innr RC250), Arnoo is the cloud platform that hosts Leedarson and other brands/ODMs as well, and Innr sells the devices under their brand and builds some devices themselves as well (I couldn’t find all Innr devices on the Leedarson product catalog, which means that this might only be specific devices).
I have been doing some testing with my Zigbee network, as I have had some intermittent problems… and I am reasonably confident that the problems are all due to the numerous innr GU10 spotlight bulbs I have in a number of light fixtures. I have replaced a few with Aqara GU10 bulbs, and they are way more reliable and stable (but then they are about twice the price… but support either Zigbee or Matter o/ Thread)
It looks like I made a mistake investing in so many innr bulbs and lights D’oh! The few Aqara bulbs and light fixtures I have seem to work a lot better with Homey… but they do seem a more premium product.
Anyone want an innr bridge and a shed load of bulbs ha ha. Think I’ll be keeping the RC250’s for now. Although they’re not quite as reliable as the Sonoff Orbs I have, they are a bit more user friendly for guests, with the kinda obvious big round power button in the middle

Yes, I would be very interested in that information. I actually don’t have any other Innr devices, only the bridge. I have connected an IKEA smartplug to it, which also works fine since the Arnoo platform accepts most generic Zigbee lights and smart plugs. However, the Eglo light that I tried pairing with my bridge works a bit strange (separate white and color lights), and the Arnoo platform did not return any status updates unfortunately. So I would like to know how the Innr bulbs look like in the configuration
I have a few Innr smart plugs, many bulbs (B22, E27, GU10) an LED strip, and a ceiling light (yeah I went nuts and now I’m kinda regretting it) But as Ikea’s new Matter o/ Thread devices seem to be getting rave reviews and are way waaaay cheaper than most, I might need to make a trip there next payday ha ha
