[APP][Pro] Huawei Solar - Smart energy for a better life

It is not in the list of apps. It is the second choice (between User and Flows) under system, “Apps”. Check my picture again. You want to do something with “an app.” Like disable, enable etc. In the next step (from the card) you select which app from the drop down menu.

I’m sorry to inconvenience you again but as you can see my system doesn’t show the “apps” icon between User and flows like yours does

Incidentally, I have written to the Huawei solar service EU team about the problem that repeatedly affects many of us.
They got back very quickly and asked for my serial number for the inverter and promised that I will be contacted by a technician.
I will of course post their responses under this thread.

If we are talking about a Homey Pro (judging this app we are), to restart apps, then you probably still need to activate the experimental feature “power user” in Homey’s settings.

I just tried that, but unfortunately it made no difference.

It’s really weird… I just enabled “Power User” and “Viritual Devices” in experimetal feature

We have not encountered this problem with a third party EMS system like Homey Smart System before.

Could you please share some screenshots regarding the incident when it occurs next time. Unfortunately for the moment we cannot support any incident regarding an isolated case, but there is a new update of Fusion Solar coming out in the beginning of January, where I believe this issue will not be present anymore.

In any case I would like to follow up on the password reconfiguration issue, does that concern Fusion Solar, or the Homey Start System?

Also could you please inform me how often do you encounter this issue on a monthly basis just to see if I can push this issue to higher level.

Hi!

Today in the morning I´ve got a push message from my Huawei app on the phone saying Huawei has made a huge update. Since then the Homey app disconnected from the PV system. I removed it and tried to add again. Now I get an error when entering my login and password, saying it couldnt be found.
I also noticed that the login address has changed. Before it was like “region01eu5…”. Not it starts with “https://uni002eu5.fusionsolar.huawei.com/

Any idea how I can add the system again?

Same problem. If you add it with “systems after 2023” or before 2023, the error says "cannot read property “name” of undefined - no matter what you enter as credentials.
Would be great if the app works again soon :slight_smile: thanks!

The message pops up for all three adding options. Before 2023, after 2023 and Web.

Its same for me. I cant even log in anymore. It says wrong password and i have confirmed that is not wrong on fusionsolar webbpage.

Pretty annoying I get the same message wrong name or password.
Can anyone log into fusion solar at all?

I’m in contact with Huawei themself to figure out what the best way forward is, but I’m waiting on feedback from them

Hi Jan,
I have checked the website and the did an investigation internally regarding our software and the API.

This issue has to be solved from Homey Smart System side, as they are the ones loosing access to our system. I would recommend reaching out to them so they can implement in their system a solution for not disconnecting after our firmware upgrade.

Also no more connection grom Homey to Fusion Solar.
I’m currently curious what the correct / recommended account for the connection is.
So far I used an additional user that I created in Fusion Solar with “Owner” Role (also have another user with “Installer” role - so I have the installer crededentials of course).

But: so far I did not use the Northbound API: is this maybe the better way?

Or do the “normal” Fusion Solar users have the same functionality anyway, i.e. they also can access everything via the Northbound API? (i.e. there is no need to create a separate user in the Northbound Management section of the Company Management menu in Fusion Solar).

I get the message wrong email or password.
I log in with the same email address and the same password that previously worked, so I’m sure the error is in the app.
It would be a great help if anyone could tell me if they can log into the system?
