[APP][Pro] Huawei Solar - Smart energy for a better life

I have the same problem, I used a web with username and pwd as the website and worked fine for time but it is from last saturday that it does’t work anymore. HELP PLEASE. the version is 2.0.14

I tried with 2.0.15 in test but the result is the same, still does’t work.
I’ve removed the device and now I cannot add it again… sometimes the error is “Cannot read property ‘name’ of undefined” and sometimes wrong credential. (I use region02).

I am using again the version 2.0.14 and it is still the same

wow, now it works again… well

Fusionsolar website they added a permanent captcha now it is just for me? (due to multiple logins maybe)

Hi,

I tried to connect and add my devices but it didn’t work.
Get a message "null is not an object ( evaluating ‘devices.length’)
Any idea?

Thanks
Dirk

Always having this:Error retrieving data (TypeError: response.data.data is not iterable)
Is this because the permanent Captcha? or is the app dead?

again not working, as 2 week ago, same error

again ok

Unfortunately, a very unstable app that after a few weeks of inveal loses the connection to my solar system.
Reconfiguration makes no difference.
The app has been very unstable for as long as I’ve had Homey.
Very unfortunate as it controls the charging of my electric car with “solar power only”

Good morning

I know that there are a lot of issues with the app, that I am aware of but at the moment I don’t have the time to dive into every issue one by one. (for me this is a hobby project)

I’m in contact with someone at Huawei to see if I can improve the app but that is ongoing and I cannot give any deadlines on this.

The web part sometimes blocks because of the captcha, there is nothing I can do about that it is an extra security that Huawei build in.

could you add a Modbus connection? (like the homeassistant integration)
I could donate some cash for it.

I already started building a Modbus version but it is very unstable.
You can only query the interface every x seconds and I noticed it only worked via Ethernet, not via Wifi.

If I have time the next couple of weeks I’ll try to deploy a first version

Hello.
Then again there are problems with Huaweisolar and Homey.
Huaweisolar (Web version) was well integrated in my Homey Pro, but yesterday again showed a red triangle in the integrated icon.
When I try to log in to Haweisolar again, I get a message that the username or password is incorrect.
The message is incorrect as I can log on to Fusionsolar via my web browser without any problems.
Does anyone know why you periodically lose the connection between Homey and Huaweisolar ?

This happens to me every time Huawei has an outage due to maintance on their website. I usually disable the app for a few hours after the service window and then it usually works again. It is quite disturbing and you lose data for these hours, but you also lose data during the service window.

Thanks for info.
Nice to know the reason.
I mostly use the app in the summer months when I charge my electric car with solar energy.
How do you temporarily disable the app?

Please let me know. I can test it

I have created a simple flow in Homey that disables Solar app in Homey. When I receive a maintenance notification in the Huawei Fusion Solar app (iOS), I enter the date and time for the service window and add a few hours after the end time for the window. Normally the service window is 00:00 to 08:00.

Smart solution, but when I create the date and time in a flow, I cannot subsequently select Fusionsolar.
Which app do you use?

In a flow select the “then” and “apps”.

In that card, you then select Huawei Solar.

It is completely what I am trying but when I have entered the time and date and want to select the app Huawie solar the app is no longer in the list of apps very strange?
