[APP][Pro] Huawei Solar - Smart energy for a better life

Yesterday, after I reported the issue I noticed that the app was updated and my issue is solved now.

Huawei Solar has been automatically updated to version 2.0.14.

That’s good, it was probably fixed by the dev, my issue seems to be different.

So, tried again today and it worked. May have been an issue with Huawei’s servers.

Hi, i have 2 inverters in my plant, but it seems that the app is only pulling data from one of them. It show the installed capacity correct but only data from my first installed inverter is showing.

adding in here as well:

credentials work fine in browser and fusion solar app.
appeared just after the server maintenance they did on friday night to saturday morning.

if needed, i can provide the login data.

Hi,
Amazing App for Homey. I am currently using it to control my Easee charger. Updates every 5 mins or so, are actually quite OK.
I am a bit puzzled about a bit of the information in the app and cannot find anyone having discussed it, so might just be me.

In my FusionSolar, the PV appears to be identical to the Huawei Solar “Active Usage” data.
I would have expected it to be matching PV Yield, but it never does.
And what exactly is the meaning of “Power”. It does not match anything I can find in my FusionSolar app, so a bit curious what it is. At first I thought it was just the PV yield but in watts but they never match either.

As far as I understand there’s been some juggling of values since moving to the web integration, so not everything is as it should be. For me power doesn’t seem to update at all. So for now I’ve made a variable called PV Yield and then I update that based on the Active Usage value with some conversion and rounding to find how much I want my car to charge with. It seems like there has been a lot of work keeping everything running and since it’s unpaid work I think we’ll just have to wait patiently and be grateful for all the hard work

Hey everyone. It seems my Homey is not updating with data from my solar plant anymore, and when I logged into the web interface I saw they’ve added a captcha.

I imagine this breaks the web integration?

No idea if it helps for your application but the Swedish (European) power company Tibber just implemented Huawei inverters into their customer app using only standard account login. They are not affected by the new Captcha login and still upp and running.

Hi guys, I’m trying to find time to optimize the app but this will take some time.
I know that non of the available options are fully stable but I’m trying to figure some things out.

I’ll write an update once I have more news and need more testers.

Captcha is not always shown in the login page.
now:

Hi, any possibility to support
intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com too?

@reyntjensw app works great with the new Web-login. Any plans to add possibilities to change the TOU-settings? (Making it possible to adapt battery charge/discharge based on energy prices)

Hi. Thanks for all efforts. However still not work for me since some time. Have updated to v2.0.15 and tried web login region 03eu05, but it either replies unvalid credentials or “device is null”. Hope for a solution within soon as it is a crucial app for me in Homey. Thank you again.

Hello @reyntjensw i changed to the web modus but i do net get any info about my battery this way?

Hey my web setup stopped working lately. I think because huawei login page now added all the time the security numbers. Can you please check

Hi Jorgen, no changes will be made to the app for now, it first needs to be stable

It should work by checking the battery option (in the settings menu)

The only way to avoid this is to remove the device, login via the webinterface and once the captcha’s are gone you can add it again.
