Hi.
Is possibile to use two apps HomeKitty installed in two different homey in the same network to share devices in apple Home?
Thanks
Have you tried? Although I donāt really see the point, why would you have two Homey in the same network? Sounds like a bit of a nightmare to maintain.
Iāll try to explain me better. Sometime ago I used two Homeys: one at home and the other in a garage a bit far from house. The first Homey can not connect devices in the garage even if I used signal extender. I thought to cable with a a lan wire and put another Homey in the garage to share all devices I wanted in HomeKit. It was seems work. Now I had change house but I non be able to view two homey in my HomeKit, probably because the pairing code is the same⦠but I don remember what I did in the past. thanks for any help.

Carlo
You can change the pairing code in the app settings. Itās probably also best to change the bridge identifier for one.
I never tried running two instances of HomeKitty on the same network, so not sure if itās supposed to work at all.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I can change bridge identifier.
Can you tel me what I can change pairing code? When I click on window it show me a image of code (see screenshot attached) can not change anything.
Thanks

Oh whoops, I thought it was possible to change it, but it isnāt ![]()
What you can try is turn off one Homey, add the other one to HomeKit, then vice versa.
No problem!!
Iāll try to do that and to change identifier.
Iāll give you a feedback.
Thanks a lot

Iām not sure if the other time I have changed identifier but now it works properly.

hi, I searched but I couldnāt find anything, I wanted to know if it was possible to implement the motorized window as a device, eg velux. I had the possibility in homekit via the velux gateway, but once I inserted it in homey via homekitcontroller I canāt export it to homekitty because the device class is not supported.
Please see the first post on how to report issues.
ok thanks, I reported on github
Hi Robert,
The app isnāt working anymore after the update to iOS 18 of my iPhone. Do you experience the same? All the devices are offline in HomeKit on my iPhone.
Update: restarting the app worked like a charm.
Many thanks for this app!! I really like itšš»
Is anyone else having issues with HomeKitty? All devices stopped responding. Restart didnt fix it, then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything. Have added the hub, but devices doesnāt get published
See first post.
I have had a lot of problems with āno responseā but finally we could select which access point to be the active and selected my HomePod and all the Homey devices worked again. I think there is a problem with one of my AppeTV units which always was selected as the gateway. This also finally fixed some awkward status on my thermostats (auto) which has not worked correctly earlier.
I have 89 active units in Homey shown in HomeKit so if you need testing of anything, please advice.
Why is not the room correctly transferred? Is it the interface that does not support this? All units end in a kind of default room.
HomeKitās rooms are completely separate from Homeyās rooms, thereās no way in the HomeKit protocol to transfer those in any way. You have to assign each HomeKit device to a room on your iOS device.
Does Matter support this? It is really important when you have multiple systems and gateways to make it smoother operation.
No.
Thank you for your app @robertklep; I use it every day.
The Flow Starter is still in Beta. I use it, it works. Is there any news on that status? Any reason to keep it in Beta? I havenāt experienced issues. Am I just lucky?
I will take it out of beta ![]()
