Got tired of quite heavy workaround using iOBroker, MQTT, Device Capabilities so I have created an app from scratch and resolved my own request for the app from 2022 - [Requests] Homey Pro Community App Requests - #653 by Sharkys
Naturally only models with Wifi Modul are supported. I’m using it on HAAS+SOHN HSP 6 model, other models are untested.
In the device settings you will find some more details on the detected device or you can change the pellets auto-reset behavior, in case empty tank is detected.
Pellets consumed are following the logic of using 1x15kg or 2x15kg pellets quantity and when empty tank is detected, it self-reset. Currently, it’s based on internal HaasSohn reporting of consumption, might not be fully accurate but in that case you can set it by flow. I’m using Aquara vibration sensor to detect the stove is opened, asking me on phone to reset the pellets consumptions - the reason is not having empty tank during night or when eg. leaving for weekend, vacation etc.
Using this app, you can now :
- set your pellet stove to lower temperature when you leave the house
- disable weekly schedule, to have more advanced schedule, event based (I’m using it in combination of Advanced Scheduler
- detect, if it’s too cold at home to turn on the stove
- it’s higher temperature expected during the day ? –> turn off the stove
- etc.
