[APP][Pro] Rika Connect - Monitor your Rika Pellet Stove

Hello everyone!

I’m happy to present my new app: Rika Connect. If you own a Rika pellet stove with Rika Firenet, this app allows you to monitor it directly from Homey!

:fire: Features

  • Real-time Monitoring:

    • View current status (Ignition, Operation, Standby, etc.).

    • Monitor Room Temperature and Target Temperature.

    • Track accumulated Consumption (kg) and Runtime (hours).

  • Daily Statistics:

    • Today: See how much you’ve consumed and burned since midnight.

    • Yesterday: Get a frozen snapshot of yesterday’s total performance.

  • Smart Stock Management:

    • The app automatically decrements your pellet stock based on consumption.

    • Visual “Pellets Stock” meter.

    • Flow Actions: “Add Stock” or “Set Stock” allows you to easily update the inventory when you refill your stove (e.g. via a physical button or just a Flow).

  • Insights:

    • All data is available in Homey Insights for long-term tracking and beautiful graphs.

:warning: Requirements & Limitations

  • Rika Firenet: You need a working Rika Firenet account and your stove must be connected to the internet.

  • Monitoring Only: This app currently focuses on monitoring and does not control the stove (On/Off/Temperature).

:inbox_tray: Usage

  1. Install the app.

  2. Add a new device “Rika Connect”.

  3. Login with your Rika Firenet credentials.

  4. Your stove will be added automatically.

Stock Tip: Go to the device settings to set your initial stock level!

Thank you for the app for Rika stoves, but is it possible to add some ‘AND’ and ‘THEN’ possibilities too?
I’m missing the settings for temperature and power in ‘THEN’ and maybe a couple of compare possibilities in ‘AND’ ?

Hi,

I’ve created my own version of the app. It monitors but more importantly, it controls the Rika Firenet. Due to the submission rejection from Homey, I cannot put it in the store.

@Havok Are you open for a collaboration or can you put the code into GitHub so I can merge our code bases together?

If my program doesn’t control the Firenet (even though it could), that’s by design.

We’re talking about a device that controls a fire, so I decided it wasn’t prudent—for a variety of safety reasons—to allow an unofficial module to control the stove.

Therefore, it is read-only.
