Yes tried that - seems like a firewall is blocking traffic. I will investigate further, tnx
Yes I have the same problem with the live view.
Snapshot is fine
@Luca_Lorenzi will check again
The Homebase doesnât expose the capability homealarm_state ( Tutorial: Device Capabilities - Homey Apps SDK v3 ) - would this be possible to add?
In addition to being a Homey capability, this would mean that the Eufy Homebase security system would be picked up and exposed via HomeKitty as it looks for that capability in addition to the device type.
If it is acceptable for it to be added (or potentially replace alarm_arm_mode which appears to be of Home Assistant origin?) - would you be open to a pull request? Iâd be happy to provide one if the suggestion is acceptable.
Hi Jak
The home alarm_state is not aligning with the cameras and Homebase so it wasnât added for a reason
Also why would you expect this? Thereâs already a picker for arm mode. Only adding this for home kitty is not feasible in my opinion. As âalarm_arm_stateâ has only 3 options. So this will really conflict with the existing picker and the _alarm_arm_modeâ
Alarm_arm_mode is not coming from home assistant? It was requested by users so it will show an indicator if the alarm is not enabled
Thank you for responding Martijn
Only adding this for home kitty is not feasible in my opinion.
I have my answer
I appreciate the additional context too. For my use case I only use Homey to add non-HomeKit devices and more advanced flows. I can use Virtual Devices to connect Homebase in, but it is fiddly, and I thought there might have been an opportunity for it to work âout of the boxâ.
Thank you
Hi @Jak
Youâre welcome.
I was thinking to add some power-user features someday. With such a setup i can add these kind of additions without having to explain it for the regular user. But didnât think it trough yet
Hi martijnpoppen, I recently send you report from app about snapshot service. I have Homey Pro and Homey SHS, snapshot service is working fine on Homey Pro, but not on SHS. Do you have any information why it can be issue on SHS?
Regards Lubos
@Lubos_Svetik yes read this: [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #8513 by martijnpoppen
Hi Martjin, I send you a diagnostic report (18a34273-fa18-4db8-95b6-d6378d1d0c90) because it seems like when I use the flow card for the snapshot the condition goes in error but the imagine is correctly update. The problem is that inside a flow this would not allow me to continue the flowâŚ
can u please check?
best regards
Luca

@MikeT87 the c220âissue is known no fix yet.
For events check FAQ Q1 [APP][Pro] Eufy Security - #4 by martijnpoppen - Apps - Homey Community Forum
@Luca_Lorenzi hmm looks like timing issue have to check that
@Niklas_Jansson just saw your like
But I did check this but the API returns errors so not sure how this works in the official app but couldnât get it to work
Maybe it depends on the device as there are multiple models of course
Hi! Thanks for trying it out. No worries. I´ll just have to depend on setting home/away instead.
Hi, I noticed the cam can be set in privacy mode in the eufy app. Cam is turned to predefined corner.
In the homey app this option is not available?
Kind regards
FJD
@Ferry_D No this is not possible in the Homey app
I have a problem using the cards [Zone Active] and [Zone Inactive for 5 minutes].
I have my cameras in zones and have been using a flow for a few years now, that when the zone becomes active the outdoor lights are turned on, and off when the zone has not been active for 5 minutes. Recently, this no longer works. The last time it still worked was on the night of February 23. I have seen that the Homey Eufy app has been updated on February 23, 21:01. Iâm now on version 3.41.4.
The settings in the cameras in the Homey Eufy app are unchanged and are set to:
- Use Generic Motion Alarm: Yes
- Exclude from Zone Activity: No
In the Eufy app on iOS, motion detection and detection of all movements are enabled for every camera. I checked this again in the Eufy account with which the cameras are shared, for use in the Homey.
I have now replaced the Zone cards in the flows with [Motion Detected] and [Motion Detected - off for 5 Minutes]. This works, but I would like to use the Zone cards again.
Is there a bug in the Homey Eufy app, or is there a setting that has been changed and I need to set differently?
@robkor to me it sounds like a big which got introduced in the last version
Can you share screenshots of the flow so I can properly reproduce it ?
The zones I use in the flow:
The flow that used to work:
The adjusted flow to let it work again:
Does this help?
What has been introduced in the latest version that could possibly cause this?
