Not sure, I just choose the only option available with the eufy motion sensor to send the status off and it gives me a common.x.
When I choose the item, I see what the real status is so no idea why it gives this Common.x error?
@Heula guess you have to ask Athom for this
Hello. I am having trouble getting my Eufy S330 wired doorbell added to homey. The battery version is supported, but is the wired version support?
@Eric_Nelson i dont think the wired version is supported.
Its not available in EU as far as i know
I only support EU devices
Okay. Would the battery/wired E340 video doorbell which can be connected to the homebase 3 work?
I have been able to connect my other eufy security cams, and excited to start creating for flows for them. Just want to get the doorbell in the loop as well.
@Eric_Nelson i think the wired s330 might work. But needs implementation first
The S330 with Homebase 2 does work (battery version
E340 also works
Great. Thank you for the help.
Thank you but thatās weird Martijnā¦ IP is 10.0.0.62 (DHCP static)ā¦
from Homey ā¦ (and I checked also ping yesterday)
From PC ā¦
Turning on-off via Eufy APP works, turning on-off via Homey Eufy Security do not workā¦ also when I turn on via Eufy APP, the state is not reflected back.
In the Homey log I see :
Server HTTP PUT /manager/devices/device/739a094e-ed67-4c58-8dfe-f58f8684638c/capability/onoff ā Success 200
ā¦so I decided to restart EUFY app when writing this postā¦and, suddenly it works (like for both cams and even state are loaded correctly) ? But it did not prior to the app restart (also camera state were loaded/updated correctly).
But why that happens if the ping is always alright ? Do you use some keep-alive, eg. when router get restarted, the connection will get re-estabilshed ? But canāt explain that, it would influence all others cams and not only Tilt indoor cams. Also not sure why app restart helps (didnāt try that yesterday).
Unless you have some ideas, will keep eye on that.
@Sharkys sounds to me like the P2P was restarted when you restarted the app. So new handshakes with the cams etc. There is a keep-alive for wired cams. But it should reconnect when it doesnāt work. But this is all in the underlying library, so not sure about the exact mechanism. But in theory this should be it
@martijnpoppen I have hombase3 with cameras. Does the card āHomebase/Arm mode isā fetch the mode from the homebase or is it using the, in the Homey, saved mode?
Why I ask is due to that I have a flow checking whether the mode is correctly changed or not, and even if I see that the arm mode in the Home and the mode in the homebase does not correlate the check is reports success. So, leading question.
Mostly the mode in the homebase is changed, but not always.
@Anders_Gregow the card checks the state in Homey as its not possible to retrieve the state by API but only when a notification occurs
@Anders_Gregow tip would be: change security modes only from Homey to Eufy and not the other way around.
There;s some way of 2 communication, but sometimes your Homey might be in the wrong state.
I only use the Eufy app on my phone to see live views
@martijnpoppen I only change mode from Homey, but sometimes when the cameras are expected to be recording they are not. When I check the mode in the Eufy app it is in the wrong/previous mode.
I have added second āchange arm modeā card in my flow, letās see if this will help.
@Anders_Gregow alright. let me know
Feel free to send a report if it is not correct
Hi, is the E340 Floodlight supported yet?
If you are awaiting a library, if so, who supplies it? Eufy, Homey, etc
Is there an ETA, as Iām looking to buy the Homey Pro but need it to work with the floodlight?
@Shaba49 yes itās supportedā¦
You can see all supported devices on the APP page. No need to ask in forum
Sorry
Is there no test version at the moment? Isnāt it always there before you installed it?
@mralbert English please
But no no test version available at the moment
New app update ( TEST: 3.24.0):
Changelog:
NEW:
1: NEW: Snapshots!FIXES:
1: None
Info
Snapshots are now added to the APP.
To enable snapshots go to the device settings of your camera (in Homey) and enable the snapshot functionality. This will give you the Snapshot FlowCard
How does this work?
When Eufy starts a stream the Homey app receives the H264 Readablestream from Eufy. This is parsed to a Buffer and send to the external server Which runs FFMPEG. FFMPEG takes a snapshot and sends that back. Nothing is stored on the server a thereās no storage available there.
Flow Example:
NOTE:
The snapshot card will use a external service which runs FFMPEG to generate the snapshot.
This service is hosted by the developer of this app and is free to use.
The service will only be used when the snapshot card is enabled.
The service will not be used when the snapshot card is disabled. All data is send encrypted and will not be stored on the server.
If you find any issues, send a report via the mobile homey app
More - apps - Eufy Security - settings wheel right top - send diagnostic report (put your email in the input field to make it easier)
You can install the test version by clicking the link above and press install
