[APP][Pro] Eufy Security

Hi @maarten_breesnee
This is the English section of the community.

As far as I know it’s not possible tot start routines on Google Home via Homey.
Otherwise that would be a good way to fix that.

I stream it with chromecast. That works fine.
But your TV must be compatible with Homey.

Small update on the Quick_Responses. Because I got the doorbell myself testing got way easier :stuck_out_tongue: (read: the doorbell is still not on the wall)

After debuggin the app requests with Frida:
I managed to get the default response working without motion_detection. After a small rewrite in the library I also managed to trigger a custom response. (also without motion). This ID changes on the fly so will write a small implementation for that in Homey.

For now I’ll test this and check how to integrate this further.

@martijnpoppen good news! Can’t wait to test

Amazing!
Looking forward to test it myself as well.

And curious what other features you can think of now you own the doorbell yourself

ENGLISH BELOW

Hi There

Alvast bedankt.

Hi There

Since today the doorbell ('on battery, but still via the wiring) on the wall. And your beautiful app installed.
However, the only thing that seems active is the registration of the push button and then a snapshot of it. When I refresh the snapshot afterwards, I don’t get a new image.

Motion, person motion or background motion will remain blank in the homey app.
I assume this is supposed to work? What am I doing wrong?

And I don’t quite understand what the first option means that I can turn the doorbell ‘on’ or ‘off’?
But in the end, the most important thing I think is that all those detections will work in the app, so that I can link flows to it. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Patrick_B ,

Best thing to check is that you’re Homebase is not in Disarmed mode.
If not I would suggest to restart the app. Then the notification service will restart too.

About the on/off. All Eufy camera’s can be turned off or on. So for example if you don’t want your camera too be on you can disable it.

@martijnpoppen Tnx for the quick reply. The mode is Home (i’m considering the geofence option) but it’s definitely not disarmed. I restarted your app, restarted even my Homey (V5) but still… :see_no_evil: I feel so stuppid

@Patrick_B At least the doorbell press is coming trough as I saw in your picture. Can you check you motion detection settings and notification settings in the Eufy app. Make sure this is enabled. Eufy-Homey uses those settings.

New app update (test: 1.9.0):

QuickResponses are added to v1.9.0
Updated the P2P library so I can retrieve the specific voice id for the custom messages.

Also made some fixes to send those messages.

Also I might be able to get realtime snapshots

@martijnpoppen not yet working for me

@Rens_Hoekema haha I forgot, do you have the wired of the battery version?

@martijnpoppen the wired version

@Rens_Hoekema Hmm I had the same. Can you restart your Euufy app? That worked for me

@martijnpoppen restarting had the effect that when testing it says the flow completes, but not sound from my doorbell

@Rens_Hoekema hmm alright… Works here. Curious if it works for @MrBlue @2Be

It takes some time though to start.

@martijnpoppen maybe I’m doing someting wrong testing ? How do you test it ?

@Rens_Hoekema like this:

@martijnpoppen ok then I did the same
