[APP][Pro] Eufy Security

Ah yes I understand.
I’ll make an option to disable the forced feature. :slight_smile:

If you don’t want to make use of cloud features make sure you don’t use the start stream flowcard. Which starts a cloud stream.

Edit: Oh and good to mention, If Homey can’t connect locally to Eufy it will try to connect via Cloud, just fyi :slight_smile:

@OetAelse see message above for the latest test version of the app :slight_smile:

Hi @martijnpoppen

I can’t login after the update. I get a captcha but non of them will work. I add these 4 digets and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks

@Heula

  1. Are you on the test version?
  2. did you login yourself or did the app ask for it?
  3. can’t really say what is wrong with only a image, can you share a report?

I’m on the latest test version.
I saw some emails coming in with 2fa codes and than I saw Eufy was updated.
I still get the captcha digest when I do repair and login? Even after I disabled the 2fa for my second account.

After a while without doing anything all the red marks were gone and everything was okay again.
It seems to be working fine again.

Thanks.

Strange, there was a small change in the library which i also added.
Before i used a adapted version of the library which changes i made myself.

Probably that triggered the login again for you.
The 2FA and captcha are 2 different things.
If you login frequently or have updates in Homey the captcha is triggered as a extra protection (from Eufy side)

Good that’s working again!

I’ll monitor it a bit!

Hey @martijnpoppen,

Hi @Jeroen_van_der_Voort
Please keep this thread in English or use the Dutch subtopic :netherlands:

Bes tthing to do is sharing the devices as devices and not as a house. Probably that’s the reason they’re not showing up.

Can you try that?

@martijnpoppen. Test version is working well, no issues found!

hello, I’m trying to stream the video from my doorbell, my screen loads fine, I have the homey logo but no video. I followed the tutorial above. anyone have an idea?

hello, is it possible to have a French translation of the application. I can make you the file if you tell me what to translate from English. thank you

@Matthieu_Moreau did you stream it as a webpage? It’s not a video :slight_smile:

@Matthieu_Moreau Would be really nice to have French translation! :smiley:

These are the 3 files: ( Already created 2 french locale files :slight_smile: )

App store page: com.eufylife.security/README.fr.txt at main · martijnpoppen/com.eufylife.security · GitHub
Locales: com.eufylife.security/fr.json at main · martijnpoppen/com.eufylife.security · GitHub
App.json com.eufylife.security/app.json at main · martijnpoppen/com.eufylife.security · GitHub (in here you’ll find a lot of translations, you can search on "en": then you’ll find all english translations

@martijnpoppen

Ok I see for you to do this.

should I translate:

      "en": "Vehicle Detected",
      "nl": "Voertuig Gedetecteerd"

or any sentence in English?

@Matthieu_Moreau
You can add a new line like this:

      "en": "Vehicle Detected",
      "nl": "Voertuig Gedetecteerd",
      "fr": "Véhicule détecté

ok

This part seems strange, always the same encoding?

{
                "id": "0",
                "label": {
                  "en": "Auto / Low Encoding",
                  "nl": "Auto / Lage Encoding"
				  "fr": "Auto / Faible codage"
                }
              },
              {
                "id": "1",
                "label": {
                  "en": "Low / Low Encoding",
                  "nl": "Laag / Lage Encoding"
				  "fr": "Faible / Faible codage"
                }
