I was becoming really desperate, but finally got it to work again…
It’s working with the former Eufy account; so in the end a new account wasn’t necessary.
So what did the trick? I don’t know for sure, but the last things I tried/double checked with this account were as follows:
- shared the devices with the account, in stead of sharing the entire home
- enabled 2FA
- made sure notifications were set on simple (there are 3 options, chose no thumbnails etc.)
- logged out of the eufy app with the account
- re-installed the eufy app on Homey
- added devices to Homey
- restart homebase in eufy app
- after homebase was fully restarted, restart homey in homey app
- afters homey was fully restarted, restart homebase in eufy app again.
- made sure homebase in homey app was set on home (somehow “away” is the standard option)
Probably one or more steps did not make any difference, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible. Main thing is, it works again
