[APP][Pro] Device Capabilities - Enhance the capabilities of devices

Go to the AVD’s settings:
tap Maintenance > Try to repair
Tap “Open share your device”

Then, tap “Export”

Cloning as new AVD:
At the Devices tab, go to a zone the original AVD isn’t in (when finished, it can be hard to determine what’s the original and what’s the clone).
Add a new AVD
Import TEF:

Paste the TEF you copied from the original AVD and tap ‘Read Device’:

Now you can tap ‘Save’

The AVD gets cloned;
When it takes a few minutes, just tap the X to cancel;
The cloned AVD will be there anyway

Btw, does anyone found the root cause for too high memory utilisation of the DC app ? It’s crashing quite often for me due to the memory limit (~120MB)

Overhere, it clearly depends on the number of AVDs;
I use app v2.14.9 btw

@ Pro 2019, an app shouldn’t use over 40MB’s

Homey1, crammed with AVDs:

(I think 61MB is somewhat similar to 120MB on a Pro 2023)

Yea, 10 AVDs is not that much.
My 2nd Homey has 7 of them.

Device Class: Solarpanel

Add:
Numberfield as Powersensor for PV Produktion
second Numberfield as Energy Sensor for Daily PV Produktion

Then it’s working.

I did. As you can see in the picture the Energy visualisation recoginzes the Solarpanel device class but the values remain empty even though “Solar Power” is a Power (sensor) and “Solar Energy” is a Energy (sensor) in the right picture. Do I need to set more settings in de AVD?

Yes, that did it! Thanks so much. I was also able to add my EV charger as a regular sensor this way. Would be nice to have acces to the device class “car” and set ElectricCar paramter as stated under EV paragraph on this page Energy | Homey Apps SDK. This way I should be able to also add the car to the energy visualisation.

Arie has to add those newer published device types, like home batteries, to the app. Just be patient

I don’t know if this has been reported, but today I noticed that if you have push notifications in your flow you can not export an exchanger file with those.

Nothing happens, the output box remains empty. As soon as I removed push notifications from those flows, it started working again.
