No news about Cariad? my homey got disconnected from my car one week ago during one night.
In previous times the car got disconnected from homey, I log out on the iPhone seat app, log in, accept again all the terms and restart seat app on homey. But this time, when logging out and in, I have no terms to accept…
I’ve made the decision to remove the apps from the Homey App Store. While they will still be available for current users, they will no longer receive updates moving forward.
The primary reason for this decision is that the apps have been breaking every month, and without an official API, I don’t have the necessary resources or ability to fix the issues that arise.
There was a slight hope that Homey might establish a partnership with Cariad (the vendor maintaining the VAG APIs), but that doesn’t seem likely at this point.
Additionally, VAG is once again changing their APIs, this time moving to an MQTT-based solution. Given the constant changes, it’s simply no longer feasible for me to keep up and maintain these apps.
I’m still hoping for some form of cooperation, but I have to face the reality that it might not happen. I appreciate everyone’s understanding, and I will continue to monitor the situation in the hopes of a positive resolution. However, as of now, no updates will be made, and support will be limited.

Thanks Martijn for everything, despite I must say my eGolf still works fine … just expecting when they will switch to MQTT as well, so it will be end of story ;-(
@Doekse fingers crossed this will be not permanent situation and that there will be some updates, eg. re Tiber /Cariad.
I’m trying to log back in for a few days now. Before it worked good and sometimes the connection was lose, but after several login attempts i got it back.
Now it doesn’t find my car anymore.
Sad that you stop this amazing app, Martijn. Hopefully it is just for a short period.

Hope that there will soon be a workable situation between VAG and Homey. It is precisely these types of apps and your efforts that make homey a beautiful device
This is indeed sad news. Thank you for all the effort you’ve done.
VAG has other problems too, like when you would like to get pre-heating on for the morning since it’s been freezing, nope the 12V-battery is been protected and all low voltage services are offline.
Too bad all these apparent changes at VAG still do not improve the perfomance of the Audi app in any way.
Just imagine paying 100+k for a car and have an app that performs so bad…
I’ve had this app working for a while. then I had to log in again and now I keep getting this next problem. and I have already tried what is in that explanation several times. but this doesn’t work either. Does anyone have a solution for this so that I can use the app again?
