I don’t know if its the time for feature requests already?
If it is: is it possible to create an trigger for ‘vehicle moving changed’ ?
This way I can check if doors are still open after 2min after the vehicle stopped.
Great work and thanks!
@Robin_van_Kekem yes it’s on the list ![]()
@martijnpoppen , FYI only as I know it’s WIP - not getting updated values despite of restart - ioBroker after re-enabling got the latest/fresh data. Just just in case it helps to uncover something - 52ccfa4c-b684-40d9-9e63-c90d9658ba4e
Will check @Sharkys
I’m rewriting the way I fetch data so It’s less based on ioBroker. Then I can handle the intervals on the Homey side. Is also memory effecient ![]()
@martijnpoppen can´t wait till audi e support is ready ![]()
Hehe the pressure is on ![]()
do not forget the “buy the programmer a beer button” ![]()
It will be there ![]()
When the app is almost ready I’ll ask the moderators to transfer this topic to me So I can put that kind of info also in the thread ![]()
And maybe change the topic name. I created this thread but I was selfish enough to just make one for VW. Sorry. ![]()
Yeah probably I’ll create a new topic and this gets merged into it. But I’ll do that when the app is ‘ready’ enough ![]()
what a beautiful initiative. i now own a Cupra Born (it’s like a vw id.3). I have created a seat/cupra id with which I can log in to the android app, but I don’t know anything about an s-pin. does anyone know where I can get this pin from?
i already found it myself: (CUPRA CONNECT: Einfach und Bequem | CUPRA)
What is an S-PIN?
The S-PIN (Security PIN) is a 4-digit code that you create when registering your CUPRA ID. You need to remember the S-PIN well, as you need it to be able to use security-relevant features, such as . B remotely locking and unlocking the vehicle or remote controlled air conditioning.
In case of VW (and I believe it might be the same for SEAT), you needs first to be authorized/verified by the dealership, then I believe you will be allowed to create S-PIN.
Hey @AndRacer
Thanks ![]()
The Cupra Born is not ready in the app as I’m un-aware of the data.
To help out on this app I would be really helpful if you can get some data from ioBroker.
@Clabbe
Thanks.
It Will get a lot of updates though. So please note it’s still Alpha phase ![]()
So update from my side.
I spent some time refactoring the data retrieval process. ![]()
I managed to get it up and running. So now Homey controls the ioBroker plugin instead of the other way around.
Therefore I have full control of the ioBroker adatper within Homey, so I can request any data at any time which is really nice for the app and the performance. ![]()
What does this mean for you?:
The data gets updated every 5 minutes and there will be a forced refresh of the data (wake up the car) every 6 hours.
Unfortunately the app has to go trough the review process again until you can test… ![]()
From this point I’ll focus on the different data types and try to get all different cars up and running
Thanks Martijn, great work so far.
I am not happy that my holiday comes almost to the end, but can’t wait to help testing the Audi connector.
Awesome work Martijn. Never in my wildest fantasy I could imagine this progress!
A very dumb question, what if the Iobroker plugin, for any reason, gets abandoned or obsolete? Are there any constraints towards iobroker or is it rather how the protocol or method iobroker communicates with VW API that you are using?
Thanks Martijn. Seems that app got updated to 0.1.4 before taken down for the review - however as I mentioned earlier, the data are not being updated anymore for last 4 days. Is it intended? The ioBroker I have used before works just fine. Just asking ![]()
