It’s a pity that I can’t control the ECONO mode with this app. In a low-energy house with a Victron solar power plant, it would be a very useful feature for saving energy. Additionally, I am missing the feature to read the current temperature setting of the air conditioning. I have a Daikin Perfera air conditioner. ECONO needs to be turned off when the sun is providing a lot of energy, or when the batteries are fully charged. If the energy decreases, by turning on ECONO I can reduce consumption by half and keep the house warm for a long time.
In the picture I have my heating depending on the sun and SOC of the battery. But I miss the ECONO mode for the perfection of the solution.
ECONO mode is currenly not available in the Daikin API.
Maybe the upcoming new API platform will support this but no garanties.
Temparature reading from AC unit is available as tag(indoor temperature)
sorry in dutch but the first tag(binnen temperatuur)

Sorry, above response for the Daikin ONECTA app…another topic
Hi @Miroslav_Simko see screenshot.
The current temperature setting of the airco’s “target temperature” is indeed not available as a flow card, if possible I might add it in a future update (but I have no plans / timeline to update the app).

Hi Homey_Lampje,
Thank you for such a wonderful app!
I am in Singapore and have the BRPO72C42 model. Would you app v5.2.1 work with it? Also, when I try the [IP address]/aircon/get_control_info, https gets a Access Denied response.
Thanks. Unfortunately, the cloud option is not available in Singapore. Sigh.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Daikin AI version 5.2.1 and earlier are not compatible with the recently released Homey v12.2.0 firmware.
I have made the necessary updates to the app and released version 5.3.2, which is already live since 14-oct-24.
Hi, i have this message come up in Homey, but i cant really see how to upgrade the driver for mye Daikin heatpump, anyone else that has had this come up and knows how to fix it?
These notification are not for the Daikin AI app but for the Daikin ONECTA app.
And if you go to the correct topic you will find your answer.
Hi Homey_Lampje, i am very fond of your Daikin AI app. It works like a charm.
I use the app together with my Toon thermostat to controle my living room temperature.
Every 15 minutes it checks the toon temperature and if necessary it changes the Daikin temperature. Daikin AI uses 1 C changes. Would it be possible to make 0,5 C changes. The Daikin air-condition uses 0,5 C changes to. I would help me better controlling my room temperature.
Hi Ruud, the app is already able to increment the temperature in steps of 0.5 degC, see screenshots.
.After email contact with Ruud it turned out that his problem is related to a specific flow card.
I made changes to the app so that from this specific flow card the target temperature can also be changed in steps of 0.5 degC. A test version (v5.3.4) is available for those interested or using this flow card also.
Hi. I came here to see why I can’t turn on/off the device using this App. Reading you demand, @swap83, should I understand that there is indeed no way to turn it on/off yet ?
Hi,
The app stopped working this night at 1pm. I rebooted everything to no avail. I can no more add a device. After deleting the app and reinstalling it I can’t add the devices too.
I sent you the report : 2cb60f65-aa85-4032-bd0a-90f9f8fbca15
Thanks for your help in these freezing days ![]()
P.S. I’ve just noticed that the app disappears/appears everytime I try to add a device.
P.P.S : solution for those who might experience the same pb.
The isp router firmware was upgraded and the BSSID changed which created a ghost ip connexion (no ping) with the daikin units. I had to reconfigure the wifi of each unit and it works anew !
