Shelly RGBW2, Shelly DUO RGBW or the Shelly Bulb RGBW? And on what firmware version is the device?
If you are unsure, look it up under the device inmformation.

the device information says: Shelly Color Bulb, firmware version: 20230913-111548/v1.14.0-gcb84623
Will most likely be fixed with the next release.
perfect, thank you!
Hi, I understand there were some issues in the past with the Shelly H&T sensor. I just canât get it to work. Tried rebooting Homey Pro, re-adding the device to Homey and Shelly but still the same result. It works in the Shelly app but Homey Pro just doesnât update.
Follow the troubleshooting guide from the first post.
I did but no results. I canât even reach the device at its IP so I guess it just doesnât work if thatâs your answer. Thanks.
Describe the steps you take when pairing the device and what the actual result is. Saying it just doesnât work wonât help you solve your problem. Iâm pretty sure you havenât followed the instructions properly.
I did everything according
The result is that Homey Pro sees the device and installs it but after a while doesnât update anymore.
The IP address in Shelly app and Homey Pro device advanced settings are the same. It seems something goes wrong with polling the device after a while.
I will run through the steps again.
Battery devices arenât polled but only report their status on change. If you have could enabled as well, try disabling it. Could be the device isnât fast enough to report the status to both cloud as Homey. And cloud has priority over outbound websockets.
All is this is off course assuming you validated the outbound websocket connection.
Hi!
I am looking into adding 4 temperature sensors with the same setup as you have here with the " Shelly 1PM Gen3 + Shelly Plus Add-On + 5x Shelly DS18B20 temperature sensors".
I have one question that you might be able to help me with, how does this look in Homey? Are the sensors added as separate units or are they all in one unit? I need to be able to know which is which and label them.
Thanks,
Fredrik
They show up inside a single device, based on the Shelly 1PM Gen 3. The add-on module is not shown in Homey (also has no functions).
Each temperature sensors is a seperate sensor on the deviceâs sensors tab. As an example my five temperature sensors are shown as follows, with a generic âTemperature sensor #â name:
You cannot change their name or oder in Homey.
However, you can create a virtual device in Homey based on the Shelly device and name the sensors as you like.
Note that in the web interface of the Shelly 1PM Gen 3 itself, you can change the names of each sensor. However Homey does not import those names.
Thanks for this!
Hi, I think I have messed this up. I have a Shelly Plus 1 that worked perfectly until today, when I could no longer control it from the Homey App, but it works well from the Shelly App. I upgraded FW, but no avail. Then - and this may have been a mistake - I removed it from Homey to reconnect it.
When trying to add this as a ânew deviceâ / âAny Shelly Wifi Deviceâ:
Any thoughts? I realize I maybe shouldnât have removed the device, but thatâs a bit late.
Sounds like networking issues. Follow the troubleshooting guide from the first post.
Thanks and sorry - now it works again, shouldâve checked there first.
Hi, I have some trouble to keep a Shelly Plus Uni connected properly to my Homey. I have a few other Shelly Uni older version that logs temperatures and they work flawlessly.
But one new Shelly Plus Uni only just works for a few hours at best, and then there is an error âNot found - device id xxxxxxâ
Iâve tried to restart shelly app, device and homey and Iâve also deleted the Uni and re-added it and when I do it works ok but all of a sudden it doesnât. It has stable Wi-fi and it does work in the Shelly app all the time. Anyone had the same problem? I use this Uni with 5pcs temp sensors since the new one supports up to 5 sensors and it is implemented in a few advanced flows to tweak a heatpump.
Could you post a screenshot from the error and send a diagnostic report from the app settings when this occurs again.
I have a Shelly 0-10v that controls a fan. But is not possible to class it to anything other than âlightâ resulting in this device is turning off when we are leaving the house. Is it possible to create this class option? Thanks
You are in luck, yesterday I added a âuse at your own riskâ advanced flow card allowing to update device classes of devices. Will become available with the next release.
