[APP][Pro&Cloud] Shelly

Hi @Phuturist, something went wrong with the new test version (3.32.1) also. From multichannel devices (like Shelly Pro 3EM, Shelly Plus 2 PM) only the main device is available, the attached ‘virtual devices’ are all marked with red triangle, and not available.

Sometimes when adding the device it doesnt add two devices. Remove the device and add it again to make sure it adds two devices (one for each channel).

I’m aware and working on it.

@Heszi @SunBeech could you test version 3.32.2 which is now available in the test channel? It should now set all channels available upon app initialization.

Yes! Now it works :-).

And all Shelly-devices were available instantly / no delay anymore.

I have some smart Meter shellys (latest firmware) here. Since today’s update the sum calculation no longer works correctly. I have already restarted the app and homey. For example, the value “total power” for all three channels together. can anyone confirm this?

Since the update today: Shelly Wave Shutter is no longer capable of changing the tilt angle of blinds and shutter blinds in my setup. “Missing Capability Listener - Window_coverings_tilt_set”

Can’t really explain why that would happen. Could you try toggling the venetian blinds setting to see if that fixes it.

Thank you - just tried and that indeed does work / restored the functionality!

With the last update, Homey Cloud stopped receiving data updates from Shelly Cloud. As far as I can see, the state of movement, the state of the window/door, the consumption data, the temperature, nor if the device has been turned on/off, in short nothing is updated.

It’s a bug which I’ll fix right away. The release with the fix is pending approval by Athom. You can install the test version if you cant wait for this.

Yes, I use for years Homey Pro + Shelly for many houses with more than 200 Shelly relays.
A couple of months ago this behavior started to change:

When you use ONLY the CARDS from Homey and ONLY FOR LED RGBW (dimmers not) the behavior is:
Card Off - also dimms both channels (RGB & W)
Card Light On - ONLY W channel dimms to 100%
From device On/Off in shelly apd/web, Homey app or actual switch works as expected.

So the problem is the different behavior only for the Light Cards (all and individual light but only for RGBW2 model in my case)

It’s been a while since I posted on this thread, which is nice.

I have the following scenario I was hoping it would work, but cannot figure out if it’s viable:
I enabled the BT Gateway on a shelly 1 plus pm, hoping I would be able to use its bt observer to identify when a BT device is in range of that shelly and use that information in flows. For example "when BT device X is in range, set userA as “at home”…
Anything like this remotely possible?

If it’s a Shelly device like the Shelly BLU Button 1 then yes (there are already beacon cards for Shelly BLU devices in the Shelly app).

If it’s another Bluetooth brand then also yes, but you would have to develop that yourself. The script that the Shelly apps installs on Plus/Pro devices as a Bluetooth proxy is designed to filter BLE advertisements of Shelly devices only to prevent these scripts from bombarding Homey with messages which the Shelly app cant handle (for instance from plant sensors).

So you’d have to create a Bluetooth proxy script that will forward the BLE advertisements of your choice to Homey and create an app that handles these events.

I have an homey pro 2023. The status of my BLU Motion is frozen in homey. I use a 1PM Gen3 as the bluetooth gateway. The script is running, only Buetooth is enabled not the gateway and PRC in the shelly app. It has worked today for about 2 hours.
What is the issue?
