I try the new update 3.16.4 but same problem as before

3.16.4 - the same problem. All devices unreachable and app time out for restart

intersting: using now 3.16.4 and shelly 1 does not respond on http. I disabled the app, restarted the shelly and then could access the http gui. so I reenabled the app and then they are again not accessible by http. ping still works

Still not possible to reconnect my Shelly 2.5 Devices. Double checked for Firmware Update at the Shelly GUI. They are not conected to the cloud.

I have reverted the code refactoring in version 3.16.5. There are only small changes compared to version 3.16.0. Please install and let me know if that fixes the issue.

@Homeuse his/hers comment above is interesting though. If someone affected by this issue could restart their Shellies from the Web UI and then try the production version of my app (3.16.1) I’d like to know the result as well.

Everything seems to be back to normal. On 3.16.5.

Ok thanx, I’ll push this to live. I still need help in testing a new version that does include the code refactoring but does not crash. This refactoring was done with a reason. So I still need to make it work.

Still not able to re add devices. Everything is working fine

As mentioned, read and follow the steps from the first post. You need tu update the firmware and it will only show the new version when you first connect the devices to the cloud. This is unrelated to the issue of today.

Thanx for your reply but i still got issues. Maybe you can hep me. If i click the button to enable the cloud there is a message “Cloud can’t be enabled when a gateway is not provided!”. On other devices it works. Any suggestions how to fix it?

Never heard of that. If you post a screenshot here I can ask Allterco Robotics (the company behind Shelly).

I had the same issue than @Homeuse described with 3.16.1. Tried to explain that in the earlier post. I also made a complete restart “power down → power up from the mains” and the issue persisted.

"I have two Shelly 3EM devices. The other one is installed with “depregated” driver and other is never. They update the values for couple of seconds after app restarts and after that the actual Shelly 3EM device in the electrical cabinet is stuck in a boot loop and loses connection.

After the Homey Shelly app crashes the actual Shelly device in the electriacl cabinet get’s out of the bootloop and the measurements work in the shelly android app."

I will try a factory reset. maybe that works
