[APP][Pro] Broadlinkred App

An update is welcome (although I know I don’t do the upgrade ;-).
My Homey Pro version is (Early 2023), knowing there are more Home Pro (HW) versions.

Anyone who can help me (us) out here is much appreciated.

Looking forward to positive reply(s)…Cheers… Luc

Hello guys, do you know any alternative hardware that is supported by latest Homey version 2023 with support of learning 433mhz?

Brel app can learn 433MHz remote signals; Homey then emulates the signal

How does Brel app “learn” when Homey 2023 does not have an IR or RF receiver?

I too have a Broadlink RM4 Pro (bought before Homey) and I am quite disappointed that this isn’t supported by Homey Pro 2023 - especially in light of the fact that the Homey Pro 2023 does not have an IR and RF receiver.

It is true that the Brel app has a lot of preprogammed signals which we can be lucky will work - but I really miss a genuine capability in Homey for it to learn signals.

Homey Pro (early 2023) has a transceiver for 433 Mhz, transceiver = transmitter and receiver in one, so it can receive 433 MHz.
But indeed it doesn’t for IR.

Esben,
This is the topic for the alternative Broadlinkred app, and this one is not going to be updated as it seems;

BUT

Hi all. Ive read through the posts but im not quite getting it.
Ive got several Broadlinks around my house. Homey has found them all. The only one I can get to lesrn any commands is the RM3 Plus.
The rest just fail. Ive removed them from Broadlink, reset them and re added to homey. Again, no issues adding the device and it finds them immediately. Just cant lesrn any code on the RM3 mini or RM4 minis
The RM3 plus works brilliantly and works in flows no bother.

Any help be appreciated. Thanks

This app topic is about the so called ‘read bean’ version mini’s.

Please move to this (revived) Broadlink app:

The ‘red bean’ RM3 Mini version I own, works fine with the app I linked to.

Hmmm seems thats the version I had. Ill read again and see what’s going on!

I see. You’ll find the correct app topics at the homey.app store app pages

Should the broadlink be removed from the broadlink app?
Do i need to unplug the others in leaning mode or does the distance between device and homey hub make any difference?
Thanks
