An update is welcome (although I know I don’t do the upgrade ;-).
My Homey Pro version is (Early 2023), knowing there are more Home Pro (HW) versions.
Anyone who can help me (us) out here is much appreciated.
Looking forward to positive reply(s)…Cheers… Luc
Hello guys, do you know any alternative hardware that is supported by latest Homey version 2023 with support of learning 433mhz?
Brel app can learn 433MHz remote signals; Homey then emulates the signal
Naturally I managed to make myself look stupid by finding a solution within an hour after posting.
In the new Brel app you do not connect the roller blinds, but choose the remote. Even though the image is different, it allows for pressing any button to connect and to be recognised. You just have to make sure you have the remote in the right channel before pressing a button.

My life is complete now.
Omg this worked perfectly! No need for extra hub/hardware. Works with my awning from Hornbach and Huglo blinds from Jysk!

How does Brel app “learn” when Homey 2023 does not have an IR or RF receiver?
I too have a Broadlink RM4 Pro (bought before Homey) and I am quite disappointed that this isn’t supported by Homey Pro 2023 - especially in light of the fact that the Homey Pro 2023 does not have an IR and RF receiver.
It is true that the Brel app has a lot of preprogammed signals which we can be lucky will work - but I really miss a genuine capability in Homey for it to learn signals.

Homey Pro (early 2023) has a transceiver for 433 Mhz, transceiver = transmitter and receiver in one, so it can receive 433 MHz.
But indeed it doesn’t for IR.

Esben,
This is the topic for the alternative Broadlinkred app, and this one is not going to be updated as it seems;
BUT
The Broadlink app update is in progress:
Hi, I started working on a fork of this application to migrate it to Homey sdk3, after a request by a user here in the comunity, after tinkering with the Airthings BLE application.
You can check it out here: https://github.com/fkmeland/com.broadlink/tree/feature/homey-sdk3-migration
I don’t have any Broadlink devices, so I’m unable to test out my changes to the code base. The application runs, and gets to the pairing menu, but I suspect there are issues with pairing and the flow cards, but I n…
Hi, just wanted to let you know that my RM4 pro device has arrived at the post office, and I will pick it up this weekend, so hopefully I will have a working test with RM4 pro and hopefully other devices this weekend or in the beginning of next week
