Hello, I’m currently hesitating to migrate from my eedomus+ to Homey Pro, in order to have simpler interface but also to merge all protocols in the same box (while I currently have to use a raspberry to add Bluetooth capabilities, and a Broadlink Rm Pro to add IR and RF capabilities, all of them in…

I have bought an HP23 and one of my needs is to control an air conditioner (Mitsubishi) that can only receive IR. I was hoping I could connect it, that was one of the primary reasons I bought the HP23. Reading this thread makes me wonder if you can’t use IR to an air conditioner like mine, have any…

I also have a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioner. Homey is not able to send the IR commands. It can only control devices that are stored in the database. Get a Switchbot HUB. This can learn IR commands from the original remote control and is compatible with Homey. With the Switchbot Hub, …

OK. So i have to buy another product besides the 600$ i already have spent on HP23 for the oldest most basic protocol like IR. That was not what i expected. They said that it could handle IR. But thank you for the quick answer!

That shouldn’t be an accusation. But if you had read the forum or asked your question in the forum before you bought it, you wouldn’t have been so disappointed. What are € 35 for a smart home? Each motion detector costs more and you no longer have to fret.

Hello I have bought an outdoor awning that runs on 433mhz (brand Schous) which I would connect to homey and control it with a wind sensor. I downloaded the Somfy app to see if there was a remote control there just to test and then I chose Sunway Window Coverings and then Brei blinds. It worked pe…

[image] Tommy_Wulff: It will probably work on garage doors too, I think. I don’t think so…

And why not? I had to press the remote control that belongs to the awning when I chose Brei blinds and then Homey must have learned the signals…

[image] Tommy_Wulff: And why not? Different timings in signal, different Length in code, just no Garage door manufacturer will implement a code that can be copied that easy in a door-opener. Often these use another frequency (868Mhz) and other modulation (FSK, not ASK that is used most for …

Hi Undertaker, I’m new to Homey and am looking into buying the SwitchBot Hub or Hub 2 for learning/sending IR from/to devices that aren’t supported by my Homey Pro 2019. But I can’t find out how Homey then should communicate with the Hub (2). I found the official SwitchBot app for Homey, but the on…
